Can you imagine how boring this site would be without fanboys though?
@SonyStyled first party means owned and operated by microsoft in this case. While i anticipate most of the bethesda games will make their way to playstation and switch 2, xbox will continue to still have at sizable library of console exclusives. For example, how many of those 15 or so xbox games mentioned for 2025 mentioned in this thread are coming to playstation or switch? 3 or 4? MS already said they would honor previous franchises like doom, outer worlds, etc. So that playstation isn'...
I think he means FULL third-party, but not even MS is going FULL third-party, so I may not fully understand his point.
2025 is packed with State of decay 3, perfect dark, everwild, fable, south of midnight, towerborne, Avowed, The Outer worlds 2, doom, Gears of War: Eday. Plus theres rumors of an Oblivion remaster and Forza Horizon 6 at the end of the year. Surely some of these will need to push to 2026, but even if half of them make 2025, that's a solid line up for xbox next year.
Sweet baby was involved in India Jones and that turned out great. Maybe it will be similar?
How did they fumble it? It was fantastic.
Similar to the redfall situation. Very few put the blame on the devs and instead focused on the publisher. Sony could/should have canceled it before launch.
Plenty of reasons. Put me down for whatever console they have coming out in 2026 along with the handheld and I'll be happy. If it make you feel better to pretend it's dead, that's cool too.
The issue I keep seeing in these forums is that people don't seem to know the difference between nothing is off the table vs active planning and porting. I could tell you that nothing is off the table, but then turn around and port just 2 games from the entire catalog, and then leave you guessing about the rest. Not saying I hope they don't, because I would prefer they put their games everywhere. It certainly is free advertising as I don't remember a time when I've seen this m...
Fable is my most anticipated game for next year. Hopefully it isn't delayed.
Let's see how stalker 2 turns out before throwing in the towel. That's the next first person shooter using Unreal Engine 5. Besides, by the time the new halo game ships, they will likely port it over to UE6 while targeting next gen xbox specs.
They are not the same team that "burned Halo to the ground". Those guys were either booted or left. New leadership and a new name is a way to make a fresh start. Everyone loves a good comeback story.
He probably wouldn't have to cheer so loud if there weren't so many haters around sucking all the fun out. Gotta have balance.
Those were 3 separate rumors though and not all from the same source. But it's a possibility. The only one we know for sure is #2. I'm hoping the multiple projects are a new ODST, and halo 7. I also think there is still a battle royal from certain affinity.
We will see how fable does next year. I have high hopes for anything coming from Playground games. If it ends up being garbage, I'll probably be right there with you.
I'm looking at metacritic and I'm seeing mostly green. That's all I'm saying. It they were all yellow, I would say you have a point.
That is the gaming industrys biggest question. Nobody knows what they do all day. It's like Wonka's factory.
I feel like it would be something for Infinite like every halo map from 1 through 5. That or an ODST remake in unreal engine 5.
How much longer do you think you could/would hold out on upgrading? A lot of people still haven't upgraded, which I get.
Completely fair. If you don't provide the data, it forces people to speculate. The fact that they came out and denied the report makes me think it wasn't accurate. We will find out at the next quarterly report for the stakeholders. Can't fudge stakeholder reporting.
