I had to keep hitting refresh but i finally got a series X from Amazon
I had 5 different store tabs open at 7:55am but i wasn't able to get one.
Depends on what tv I have. If i don't have a 4k tv and don't plan to upgrade anytime soon, then the series S is perfect for me. Why pay extra for features I can't use?
Jim Ryan was just interviewed saying they will support crossgen up to 4 years.
Cool, but why lie to everyone about it then? That is what many take issue with here.
Same goal, just different strategies. Sony wants you in their ecosystem by way of a ps5 console. MS wants you in their ecosystem by way of gamepass. Whether that's through xclould, pc, new consoles, old consoles.
Which one? Are you going to tell us? Did Microsoft cancel all of their new games? What are they going to do with all of their studios?

All of the games in jason Roland's presentation were running on the series S. You should give it a watch.
I think you underestimate $100 in today's economy. I also think people are not factoring in that only 31% of people own a 4k tv.
Series S isnt a 4k box though, people seem to forget that. The amount of ram needed for 1080p is 4 times less taxing than 4k. That coupled with the velocity architecture will scale down nicely. I want to hear from a dev who is actually working on a series S/X game to chime in. This whole series S holding next gen back is silly. If that's the case, then PC's are holding next gen back as well.

Another thing to keep in mind is that he could've be brought on for the future storylines as this game will be on a 10 year cycle.

Halo 5 had the best multi-player of the series to go with the crappies single player campaign of the series. If 343i can nail the story this time, they should be good. Not worried about multi-player.
Hopefully those gimmicks are better supported than the touch pad and the light bar or the 6 axsis controller from the previous gen. Come to think about it, sony doesn't have the best track record in the controller dept. And may have to add some incentive to get developers to care.
