I'm seeing the opposite on here. Mostly positive articles and reviews for final fantasy but heaps of articles shitting all over starfield and its lifeless planets at 30 fps and only 4 f@#able people. And no vehicles!! Lol

It was one of the "negative" articles that you speak of which actually put this game on my radar. It's more of an action rpg and not turn-based like I was expecting. I'm actually interested in a ff title since the days of the snes.

@shane, oh man, I would much prefer 70 billion dollars worth of day 1 gamepass deals over activision. Hell, I would take 20 billion dollars of gamepass deals over activision. I wouldn't even want them to be exclusive to xbox and pc.

Matt Booty is admitting that only Sony could compete with gamepass. What about that is a stunning admission? We all know Sony makes some of the best games.

Who are those other 3 quotes from? The first one sounds like Satya.

Why not do both? They are also trying to get that mobile cheese!! That's where ALL the money is. They tired mobile on their own and stumbled. They need to acquire someone that has experience monetizing mobile IP. Kind of like how Sony acquired bungie to help with their live service pipeline.

Before you ask, we'll, why not just buy King separately, to which I would say, there isn't a chance that Bobby let's go of that golden goose when it makes up the largest...

MS should take some of their billions and spread it across 3rd parties to secure day 1 gamepass releases but NOT make the titles exclusive to xbox and pc. That way they are investigating in the industry, without taking anything away from Sony. That feels like a nice compromise.

As an xbox fan, I don't like the idea of taking games away from other platforms, I just want the games in gamepass. That's all I care about.

But they are investigating in their own studios. They grew the coalition, expanded playground games, invested heavily in mocap tech and photogrammetry for ninja theory, grew compulsion games and the state of decay animation studio. So i think its unfair to say they aren't investing.

Xbox want to put Sony out of business, Sony wants to put Xbox out of business. Haven't we known this for like, 20 years now? Why does everyone seem so surprised by this?

Would those of you against the idea of a Microsoft acquisition of Sega be ok with it if part of the stipulation is that all current and ALL future games from Sega would remain multiplat, like the bungie acquisition? MS would put all of their back catalog and future titles to gamepass.

I know a lot of people really look forward to those cut scenes. Sorry man :( Haven't played this since season 2 but looking forward to trying out the new forest map and infection mode.

I mean, a company should play to its strengths, no? I don't see any good that could come from MS coming out with console VR aside from being able to make fun of them when they ultimately fail, but other than that, it just doesn't make business sense. It's a market where your best case scenario is that you sell only a fraction to your console user base. Same reason I wouldn't want them to come out with a handheld, they would just mess that up too.

If you disagree with them on everything they bring to the table, why support them at all? Don't support MS, Shinoff. Take a stand. Don't give MS even a cent from gamepass, not even the dollar deal.

No one is allowed to be excited for this game! Apparently there are other games we can be allowed to be exited about. Can someone provide me with the list of approved games?

Yeah, I get that same Google vibe from them as well.

They have 2, no? Halo season 2 from paramount and the Fallout tv series from Amazon.

2022 wasn't a good year for xbox, I don't think anyone is disputing that, but if you look at what they have slated for the next few years, it's not hard to see why people are excited about xbox and gamepass. Here is what we know about that you have to look forward to in 2023, not including anything from Act/Blizz: Hellblade 2, Avowed, Forza Mortorsport, Contraband, RedFall and Starfield

Then in 2024 your have Perfect Dark, Fable, State of Decay 3, Indiana J...

Not with that attitude.

Where are you getting 66% from? 45% single player, 45% multiplayer was there day one at launch. 5% co-op, 5% forge seems like a more realistic breakdown. It's strange that people are blowing up co-op mode and making it seem like it's a 3rd of the game.

Microsoft was probably thinking that not everyone has a 4k tv but would still like to jump into next Gen with their 1080p tv. Nothing wrong with that. We have a series x hooked up to our 4k and we swap the other 2 series S consoles between the kids tvs and my monitor as needed. No way I would have spent $500 on a console that can't take advantage of the screen it's connected to. I'm sure they have other reasons for the S but that's my reason.

Edit: most ga...

Lol in the same podcast he says xbox is going away as well but nobody is running with that story. He's all over the place. He's like a shock jock for the gaming industry, only less reliable.

What if MS remade Scalebound without Platinum Games. That would be interesting.
