This guy (Yoichi) is a blatant liar. He promised everyone in the world that FFXIII was a PS3 exclusive two years go. Then one year ago, it became PS3 exclusive only in Japan, and now it's going multiplat in Japan. This guy has no qualms at all about misleading his customers. He's a total sellout and I wouldn't be surprised people have lost all respect for his words.
I personally think he's the very reason SE's best and brightest left like Sakaguchi and...
I think you're video pretty much demonstrates why GT5 doesn't do 100% accurate collisions. Aren't those test impacts pretty much at 40mph-60mph? Now imagine that being implemented... Most people wouldn't even get past the first loop around the track.
What is with the denseness of some of the fanboy trolls here? It isn't like the TI-84 is actually "hacking" the PS3 system. It's just running program off the memory. If you could get the ps3 into debug mode by booting off a usb flash disk, you can certainly get it to boot off anything that executes code. Essentially even a PSP or DS as long as 1) it's recognized by the PS3 and 2) it can execute code before the PS3 OS kicks in. What is interesting is the code accessi...
I dunno man... MS can only run on empty news for so long. They've had 6 months to come up with new developments. I maybe wrong but I think they're really tapped out this gen.
Doesn't look much of a change. Yeah the levels will be "larger" but there aren't any marked improvements.
I'd venture to ask how? he's a hardass running the company and he's always seeking perfectionism and keeping secrets... so what do you mean by evil?
Too bad the author didn't read about EA's announcement that Mass Effect 2 and 3 were coming to the PS3... I'm sure he'd be facepalming himself for taking the leap for the wrong reason.
I think it has to do with the fact that's Natsu's probably from Germany or Austria, where they do give a gender nomenclature to companies and objects. Just thought you might like to know...
What they really need to do balance out sniping in my opinion, is to start introducing windage, earth rotation, and air density at different elevations. Maybe then we can stop having these kiddies think they're so uber sniper skillzorz leet. Cuz really, sniping isn't anywhere as easy as its made out to be in most games.
@above: lol reading ur comment about SPOT. That is such a lame unrealistic feature. Nothing wrong with hardcore. The problem is you guys not movi...
maybe you can put off the anti-apple sentiment for now and try to embrace the idea that hardcore gaming is on the horizon for smart phones.
@jay2 as for your trolling sentiments jay2. The current iphone4 compares favorably with current gen android phones. I highly doubt your last gen androids were 'better" hardware spec wise.
With the average 360 owner's age between 12-17, what do you expect? They'll believe anything at that age.
Kinda what happens when you sell the game using near CG quality graphics with an FMV trailer. Didn't they claim it was 'in-game engine graphics"?
Frankly, I was 'amazed' at how much a difference between the cutscenes and actual gameplay were. Color me biased but even the PC stuff doesn't look that great. The falling debris from pillars in the shootouts look kind of generic... like popcorn balls.
Ain't that the truth... that's who grandpa boinked back then if he was lucky and fapped to if he wasn't.
Congratulations on having a Kuro Elite. Great set for movies.
"Ha! Once again, no they don't. Plasma's are far superior. The trick of LCD/LED is this crazy realism that in theory looks really great. But take a step outside, life doesn't look like that. It's not realistic at all and the colors are so bright, it looks fake."
-Patently untrue. Like all TVs you can have an LCD TV calibrated. I hope you spent some money on calibrating your kuro....
There are two types of LED TV systems ngoniko. There is also LED Fully Array backlighting which has an array of LEDs across the whole back of the screen providing evenly distributed lighting from center to edges. LED TVs with this type of back light system have the option of turning "off" regions of leds in order to display true 'black' on the screen. I believe these sets to equal or even better than Plasmas in black level and a much better refresh rate, power consumption ...
Plasmas are not good for gaming. I do not recommend a Plasma if you plan to play for any extended number of hours everyday. They have great black levels for film but they have about 1/3-1/2 less usage life than LCDs or CRTs AND you cannot replace a "backlight" like you can with certain LCD TVs. You are also risking burn-in (i know there is burn-in prevention measures these days in plasma... but that still doesn't prevent 3-5 hr gaming sessions every night where i believe a cumul...

Forge is a map editor. That's not the same thing. If you want to argue that then Doom is the first little big planet lol.
If the kinect camera requires two rather petite models to stand so close together in order to sense them, I fail to see how this will work for the average gamers.
Bioware is wrong for misleading 360 gamers if they assured their installed base that ME2 was going to be a 360 exclusive. However, unlike SE, they are a wholly owned subsidiary of EA and are subject to what EA's ultimate decision is. I don't recall EA's Peter Moore or John Riccitello ever saying, "ME2 will stay on Xbox360." All I remember seeing were Bioware's own people assuring their customers.
On the otherhand, we have Square Enix's own CEO...
