@larZen: Agreed. I have a PS3, Xbox360, and Wii. For my computing I have a Quadcore i5 system and guess what? I have an iPad. I play games on it, I do my presentations with it, and it works really really well. If Apple was such a dumbass company, then why would 15+ table manufacturers be dumbassing there way into the same market? http://www.pcworld.com/arti... ...
@ju if it was all about strictly product pricing, don't you think the third parties would have already won by now? Its been a year and no one's coming close to the numbers Apple is selling. perhaps its a little bit more than hardware price and hardware specs don'tcha think?
If Apple products are so dumb, why do almost all the user interfaces these days between Android, Apple, WebOS almost all work the same? Does that mean everyone wants to go dumb toO?
@radphil
Actually Radphil I predict the opposite. Apple is focused to the point of paranoia about what gets on their app store. And if you think Apple developers don't give a hoot about their product, then you are just as wrong. Games like any apps in the App store are instantly commented and rated upon right away. If you want to make your millions selling a great app, you'd better come out with something good, cuz apple customers are spoiled silly.
@Sony360
Why I bother to even respond to your sophmoric argument, I don't know but here goes:
If you want to argue the point that the 360 is more power than the ps3, fine, it's your perogative, but don't associate your opinions with mine.
If I were to argue that the 360 was more powerful... (which it isn't)... I wouldn't begin using a multiplatform game or a multiplatform engine as my arguing points.
@Bishop-br: I don't exactly recall seeing an Apple keynote at E3?
Let me ask you this... if Apple's iPad products are so overpriced, why is it no one on the market, Xoom, Playbook, Touchpad, Slate, and everyone else unable to undercut Apple's pricing? Shouldn't be easy? After all, Apple copies everyone, has no ounce of innovation, and its all just marketing.
GTFO
It's fatal for the gaming industry because it is 'supposedly' the forefront of untested entertainment technology.
I hardly seeing them (Apple fanboys) shill on here... what are you guys talking about?
The article speaks truth. Beyond certain game titles and exclusives, there weren't anything to say "wow!" about.
@Youjustjelly : All i saw was a ton of motion blur everywhere. If that's better graphics... then at the risk of getting motion sickness, I'll choose UC3. But seriously, everyone should just wait until E3.
The Ps3 has the slightest advantage. Overall though very close IQ for both consoles. I wonder if the framerate is comparable.
Hey DK,
You mean 68%? http://gamer.blorge.com/200...
I disagree. I've played both Gear 1 and 2 and while i was greatly impressed with the 1st game (especially the berserker stage), when UC came out, I was instantly impressed at how much cleaner the textures were compared to Gears.
@baodeus: RE5 isn't even close to any of the other games on visual tech..... It has nice textures but particle effects, everything else completely suffers.
Sorry but all the publishers could make RE5 textures if they took out all the effects.
A transaction of that size is usually notified by the bank and subject to pending confirmation... Besides if it is a credit card with that type of balance he has more than 30 days to dispute the charge anyway.
There's alot of good games on the appstore. Sorry but I don't hold to the notion that portable gaming is best on NGP or 3DS. The iPad especially iPad2 is a very very capable gaming unit. Plus that 10+ hour battery life helps alot.
I think it needs to be stated to some of you kids on this forum that 10 leftover points X 50 million xbox users = 500 million points or a cool $62.5 million that Microsoft gains in terms of free pocket change.
Now considering the average Xbox360 user has 30, 50, or even 70 points leftover and we all know that Steve Ballmer is rolling in your fanboy loving FAIL.
I think GT5 went for realism rather than sounding better with the cockpit view. My assumption based off listening at the two is that in the cockpit of a Gallardo, there is probably sound proofing in the cabin to make driving a pleasure experience. The Shift2 sounds like it was recorded underneath cabin or near the engine. It's alot more crisper for that reason, but it isn't realistic in how it would sound in the sealed compartment of a vehicle.
@loner: except the world doesn't revolve around the USA... or haven't you heard?
Those lips look WAYYY to big... like botoxed.
I'll let them suck my ... (fill in the blank) anyday. 1st to post!
