The guy makes a good point about Sony owning more than just a game system, that they have other forms of media which could easily be implemented into PSN network. Did you see the article about Japanese Gamer bias? Cuz it mentioned that the Japanese do not like games without motivated predications for violence. That and the fact that they are starting "tone down" the violence levels in games such as Ninja Gaiden 2 for the japanese market, implies that the Western games are focused too much on senseless violence and not enough storytelling (rpg) elements.
If you ask the average japanese what he thinks american games are i bet you he'd say something like FPS and Sports Games.
Frankly, I hate sports games, and FPS shooters (not to contend there aren't great ones out there) all play and feel similar.

Wow, I'm surprised you liked FFIII/VI considering you played FFVII first. The character setups seemed almost the same to me between the two. Terra had amnesia like Cloud, Leo dies like Aeris, etc. etc. VII was just too cyberpunk for me, and the graphics were horrendous. I thought it was horrendous the first time I saw it. I have played Halo3/GOW/and Bioshock, and I know for a fact that Halo3 has nothing on the other 2 xbox360 titles.
