I missed the boat on lower prices crushing all tech... and I agree with you 100% on that note. But my bet is that by 2011, 80% of people are going to have an HDTV. Maybe not now in 2008 but 3-4 years it's going be a different story. If the price points are going to be tighter in 2011, I think people will actually take the time to look at quality. As you've seen in recent N4g postings, both Sony and Microsoft have Wii-mote implementations ready.

I think Kojima's opinion for this game was that if you never played any of the previous series, there was no point trying to impart his vision to you as it wouldn't make any sense. The joke is the mass audience will be completely befuddled no matter how he tried anyway and sound like Star Trek/Wars universe gibberish. I personally really like the 360 triggers alot. It feels good and has a nice click to it for shooting. For driving however, I think it feels a tad too thin/small and I actually prefer the PS3's trigger but not by much more. What many of you like about its size, I don't. the handles really dig into my palm and like poster 12, its very hard to reach the face buttons w/o stretching. The backdrop is not CG only the taxi, girl, and spider creature as well ladder are polys. I might be wrong though, given that video is 512 X 234 mini resolution. MGS4 would look like that in that resolution size lol. Kinda strange but looking at the ladder... it seems to just disappear once it hits the ground. I would say already this has better animation than gears and better crowd control. I don't believe we'll be seeing any locusts crowds rushing you so quickly. The only comparison I can make to this on the 360 is left4dead.
I dunno why I'm getting a disagree for making sense... if you think your car can withstand a partial collision at 80mph, you show me. Neither game is accurate simulating collisions. Yes there will be body damage... but no way that car is race-worthy. Yes there will be exceptions to the rule... but you're talking a slim minority.
Don't be silly. Any race car that takes a collision at the speeds Forza or GT is going at are completely unraceable or just destroyed. Collision damage is purely an aesthetic feature and has no real bearing to real racing damage. Look at Car collision tests that the government conducts. I beg to differ on your opinion. I would choose GTAIII: SA or VC gameplay over GTA4 which is overly repetitive. Graphics are better, but still a muddled mess. Feels like a PS 2.5 game. GTA4's cover mechanics aren't exactly there at all. Enemies consistently know where you are b4 u r even visible.
Try MGS4 on Big Boss hard and tell me how stupid the AI is... because there is seriously almost no place to hide when they're alerted. As for controls, MGS4 plays like an extension ...
Has Sony even announced their full game lineup? Shouldn't this list be made after E3 vs. b4? I mean how is anyone supposed to do a comparison when its known that MS harps while Sony waits for specific events to announce games? I don't get it, this list is useless.
