Sony's got a very artful sense of style. I enjoy looking at their marketing campaigns, specifically the "this is living" in europe.
maybe its for component/composite which supposedly the vast majority of Xbox owners have. Have you ever thought of that?
That's exactly what I thought when i downloaded and watched the vid of the playstation store UK. I hope it can be Sony's "smash" bros. hit ^^
Viva pinata2 / Halo Wars / Banjo are A titles? Pfft. Niche at best especially the first 2... Banjo maybe.
Fine if Viva's an A than Ragdoll Kungfu, The Agency, Linger in Shadows and LA Noire is my reply. Ragdoll looks like it might be a Smash Bros. Competitor and LA Noire is going to be wicked period.
Peter Molyneux is a man with really great vision. I've followed his games ever since Populous, Theme Park, Syndicate, etc... Those were extremely well made games. He is MS's ace in the hole for RPG/Strategy/RTS.
you can take steel wool to it and it will be fine. You can take a pizza cutter and it will be fine.
You think pointing out the obvious number of titles Sony has over MS is crystal balling? Hey if you've got time to point fingers, let's hear your take on it.
Let me put it in a congenial non-crystal ball mode for you:
A titles Xbox Geow2, Fable 2, Left4dead, Alan Wake, Forza 3
A titles for Sony Heavy Rain, MAG, Socom, GOW3, R2, KZ2, FFXIII VS, Infamous, GT5, (ICO2)
We're talking 5 vs. 10 A Titles here. That's a year's lead if i recall from old xb...
I found Lara's character animation strange. She looked really good running and swimming around... but the climbing (frog hopping) animation and jumping off steep ledges and landing look completely unrealistic and cartoony. Looks like they only did partial mocaps.
Overall, my take on this game is wait and see. Its nice to be able to swim in the ocean anywhere, but where can you go? Are there multiple underwater tombs or do I content myself fighting sharks or just get some vi...
Its actually pretty safe considering its a "communist" govt. I took a buddy of mine (his first time out of the US) in Nov. in Shanghai last year. A really nice bustling metropolis. And all the Asian booty you could care to look at. He got whiplash from turning his head left and right... course I was staring at the european hotties.
They're new to the game and girls in China are still alot more conservative than Japan or Western world girls.
.... cuz this is America? You don't see to many blonds or latinas in China. Which is why I am here XD
An improved dot sight is illegal to export?
I would say its "even-steven" considering Sony gets Bioshock and Bioshock2 .
That's a good point you bring up. MS's strategy on greasing palms for timed exclusivity is heavily dependent on the current small size of the PS3 base. MS is going to paying out more and more just to keep up with this growth. Plus, developers will eventually get savvy on these payouts and raise the ante.
You've got to be kidding right? Halo the progenitor of FPS on the console systems? What about GoldenEye for the N64? I'm sure that FPS was just some fluke fly by night operation huh? Nevermind that it had 4 on-screen MP?
it's generic. face it. halo1 was great. Halo2/3 are just lame shadows of the first game.
I agree. The coming the of messiah game it is not. I still remember trying to man a turret and the AI just keeps driving the warthog into a tree, rock, another rock, side of the cave, into a wrecked wraith, I give up.
Right. Just like the only person who believes that statement is you.
Wait let me try your statement on for size.
The only gamers that Love Halo are those xbox fanboys in denial of being cheated out of their money by MS.
Hey Omega4 don't listen to them. I agree with you that Halo3 was the most over-hyped game ever. Look at the 1st week sales... that's what we should all be looking at as fact. Not total sales, because total sales means nothing.
I think they need to mocap the zombies. Resistance 2 is using it to great effect with the hordes. The reason i loved 28 weeks and later were because of the panic rush of zombies. If valve just added this small detail, they could take it to the next level.
