Which game shocked the E3 goers? The game that plays kind of like bourne conspiracy but looks darker and muddier? oh wait read the title again. The interactive environment is cool... but gameplay why...same ol' ultraviolent gameplay that bourne is.
Oh boy,I can just imagine the horde of adult man kids, play acting out their gear fantasies with the "action toy" lancer.
Good point... but if it was just "success of the 360 console" Square would've ported the game to Wii and made it truly multiplatform. It's pay-off money, no doubt about it.
Sony does have JRPG / Strategy titles in Japan that you won't see in the US. Look up their JP store. Lots of games that would make you scratch your head. Like the 'Summer Vacation 3' title... O_O
I partially agree though I would like to point out that most games already looked better than Gears on the PC when it was first released for the 360. Probably was further exacerbated by the long conversion time. Gears was forefront technology for consoles, but run-of-the-mill for personal computers. Plus the pacing is definitely for console play. If i had to put up with the aiming reticle speed and one button does all function on my pc... I would want to throw the game in my food processor...
Ted price didn't have to do it, Guerilla games didn't have to do it... So why did Cliff have to? Answer cuz he's an arrogant prick and can't even respect his friend Ted's work.
It doesn't say.
What is kotaku suggesting? seriously? what about the dell deal yesterday for an xbox elite at $299? Is there some insinuated problem with Elite stocks? retarded.
So wait... according to the article they made $180 million last year and only $60 million this year? Does that mean sales are down on XBLA?
Gaaah! These reads are spoilers I say! Spoilers! Can't wait to get my fingers on this :)
LBP is really going to put the PS3 on the casual gamer's map
Are you a troll or just full of sh1t? I took a look at Bourne conspiracy and it looks like the 360 pics are washed out. What it looks to me like is a difference of some brightness and contrast settings. Not full blown differences.
If Sony picks it up ... you can be sure it will be a PS3 exclusive.
I see it no more than a marketing gimmick. On the otherhand, it might be big in the retail environments... but I think it will be too expensive for restaurants as the author guesses. You can just use a simple touchscreen for orders and games. Ie it will replace the static plasma screens in the mall... that's about it.
Its a 100+ degrees over there in Afghanistan... they're all going to RROD.
I think you're mistaking design features with design. While there isn't much in the way of feature differences, design could easily go many different ways.
I'm sure there are plenty of design and colour schemes available to choose from, Like Acer's ferrari red design. I mean comeon you have a cell phone. Do all cell phones look the same? Sure they function the same... but there are plenty designs to choose from.
That looks exactly like an Apple Powerbook.... can't they not rip of designs and come up with their own?

Ok i'm a anime fan and I like to see people dressup in really well made costumes... but re-enacting scenes? That's just dorky unless really well choreographed and I know from experience ... most of them look ridiculous.
Uh... that person was called... Tom Clancy? The espionage/military science writer?
