Once again the delusional Xbox 360 fanboys are harping numbers because multiplat scores pull their aggregate score up when reality and consumer perception is showing that nobody believes the Sh1t Microsoft pulls out... only the fanbois lapping it all up. Sales numbers tell me the average consumer isn't buying your FUD kool-aid, so why you so happily drinking it up?
hahaha quit pulling game's in the seventies and low eighties like lost odessey, blue dragon, and ninja gaiden II out of your @ss like their AAA titles. They just aren't.
Maybe Sony had 0 fanbase and Nintendo 49 million SNES members when the playstation 1 was released. What's your point? That Microsoft is all bark and no bite this gen like they were last gen? ok. I agree.
Interesting to know that multiplat games that run better on the PS3 actually score lower than their 360 counterparts. Burnout Paradise and Oblivion anyone?
Only confirms to me that there is a definitive interest bias in this generation's console competition.
That's your opinion since you luuuuuv zombie games. but that's not the general consensus either.
Transitioning to that cell must be harder than Sony is letting on. But i think that trouble should end by 08. Sony's 08 lineup is better than MS.
If you like zombies you'll have fun with resistances. I'm sure they'll have "zombie" level for you to coop with.
Siren is also a zombie game. yes it a PSN title... but it is definitely a first party title. Just watch the trailers. 8.91GB game.
yes they have 6 .... kind of... xbox game studios. Massive Inc is an game advertising firm. Hired gun does porting from xbox to windows. Aces does flight simulator for windows. You can see it below. Two are just shell startups with no game record. Looks like 4 legitimate studios to me. hahaha alster nice try.

Interesting point but short of Shenmue, most of Sega's title lineup are Midway quality at best.
I think the Wii might do slightly better than your predicted 30-40 million. That number will be exceeded by next year or the year after. If you talk about sales tapering off, perhaps 60-70 mill is probably a more sensible choice. As for the PS3 dominating. I think Sony will hit 70-80 million at the end of the console race, just ekeing out Nintendo under your prediction. By my prediction, it will come out 2nd in the race at around 60-70 million with Wii hitting 80-90 million and MS hittin...
Xi that's 6 vs. 19+ First and 2nd party developers (I don't think NCsoft was mentioned). You don't even need to do the math. 13 extra exclusive games per year to compete against is next to impossible in any game book. Every ONE of MS's games would have to be a 8.5 or above to stand a chance. You are looking at a difference in library content of 52+ titles by the end of year 4. To top that off, everyone of studios are seasoned (with the exception of Media Molecule). MS is already discou...
Talk about being ripped off. You have to get this mic along with the motion sensor plus, along with virtual console controller, Extra wii-motes, and extra (joystick thingy's can't remember the name).
$249 console + extra wiimote $40 + extra Motion plus $50 + Extra virtual console controller $40 + (joystick dongle) $20 + Wii Mic + $60 = $459
You have essentially purchased a PS3 w/ extra controller.
It's hilarious that they needed to fill the 360's lineup with multiplat games. But on a more insidious note, talk about misinformation to non-gamers who might think these are exclusives and have a false impression of the Xbox's actual lineup #s vs. the PS3s.
I agree. The paris hilton of consoles.
- Why is it that it has taken Sony almost 1.5 years to release in-game XMB that doesn't quite work?
Sony is a hardware company, MS is a software company. MS has an existing online networking framework almost a decade ago that they adapted for use in consoles, Sony didn't have one and has to produce from scratch. If you count how long it really took MS to build xbox live... i'm sure it spanned more than 1.5 years. In game xmb functions are up to the developers to implement.
You're the one whose retarded if you think Crysis's graphics are inferior to a UE3 engine game like Gears. I think you like the art direction in Geow2 better? But on a technical perspective this game's graphical effects are at least 2-3 generations ahead of Geow2s.
...please go watch some HD movies of the game on Gametrailers. http://www.gametrailers.com...
Another accessory? Come on... how many more do consumers have to buy?
Seriously, I'm so glad I sold my Wii. I didn't touch it much besides wii sports. Now i'm glad... Nintendo is just banking on people to buy more stupid add-ons. I still remember being pissed off that I had to buy seperate nunchucks with my new remote and a separate controller for the Virtual console. Ridiculous.
Armyless just give it up. If Sony's priority is child safety, their priority is child safety. And again I mention to you, when did your mom every worry about you having sensory-induced epileptic tendencies? I would say 90% of parents don't... and a warning label on a game isn't going to stop potentially-harmed kids from playing it.
Here's the question... so what if it is? Should Sony release it as-is then? Who cares if its delayed. It isn't an AAA title.
and btw... it has been running at 1080p / 60fps since the beginning
.... as if a Parent's first worrying priority is their kid suffering from visual/audio induced epileptic seizures... come on....
Sony's just doing a good thing for its community. get over it.
I think in order for Sony to buy Sega, Sega's going to need to show that they're getting back on their feet. Past achievements are great... but they're in the past. Plus Sega is still a pretty big company. The amount of money Sony would have to spend to pick up Sega would be equivalent to 5-6 or media molecules (makers of LBP) and other freshly innovative studios.
I'm not saying that your wrong or anything, just saying that I think Sony has a limited budget between buying exclusives/...
