I think SC got moved because MS wants the title to compete with GOW3...
look... i'm just saying that alot bad dealings are a result of this type of competition... i'm not really disagreeing with you. Whatever is done is done. Bothy Sony and MS are now both pulling their wallets. Just saying when people start throwing money around like that, things get ugly and we gamers suffer.
@ARBiter: what were you saying? I can't read whatever u just wrote... zzzz... too much interference. Can you post another one so i can read it better? /sarcasm
And that's what i am disagreeing about. Between Bioshock 1 and Bioshock2, the only difference I see is better use of art and a refinement of art style. The unreal engine is the unreal engine. Still looks like an unreal game.
With Ass1 vs 2. Considering they had to go in and completely redo the game for Venice, I have to give them props for an excellent job well done. However it is still running the exact same engine with some refinement. I'll give you Ass2.

Hello... dude... If you don't have time to add extra stuff... why make enough content to make a whole 'nother game? Wouldn't you figure that out by gigabyte number 1 of game content vs. gigabyte 6-7 that u can't finish it all?
It wasn't unfinished. The content was cut. The game was gimped. Stop trying to spin nonsense when captain obvious is sitting on your face.
Yes why pay for an exclusive that was committed to you from Square Enix before they did a 180. The fact that MS has been trying to throw cash to roadblock Sony is already a dishonorable way of competing. That's what monopolies are known for.
Off Topic: I'm gonna make sure that if I ever compete with you in some sport or running event that I double check the referee. See if he wasn't paid off or something by you. Your right I guess, Sony should watch their back.
Huge jump you say... You mean the new texture on Shepard's face?
Sorry dude no where near a jump, more like a hop. I call that refinement.
Hey did you hear that Pioneer is planning to stop production of Plasmas this year? Wonder why huh. Plasma's use about 2-3x the amount of power that LCDs use, and they still have burn-in issues (whatever you say bub, put about 100 hours into MW2 like most ppl do on here is gonna damage a Plasma). They're heavier than LCDs, and are not sunlight friendly (which basically means they aren't good for most people's homes. Not everyone watches TV at night only... sorry.)
LED LCD Tvs ...
I'm guessing most of you guys somehow missed this article yesterday or the day before:

That 6.8 of game content was closer to 14gb before they started gimping.

here you go genius, read this article:

About anywhere from 5-8 gb of actual Game content (not CG) was culled for the final release of this game. So try to keep that argument up about your DVD9 being enough.
There's CG and Gamedata. If culling CG isn't gimping and culling Gamedata isn't, then what is gimping? Yes I'm jumping the ...
The chief designer at Square Enix pretty much said that they took out enough game content from FFXIII to make another game. That's an educated guess of a total of 12-14GB of total game data. Of course space is a big deal.
Hey Buddy,
The designers at Square Enix announced they took out 6-7 gb of game content from FFXIII... enought they claim, to make a totally new game.
Game data for XIII would've been closer to 14gb if it weren't for the decision to take out (ex:) "towns" in the game. You still think DVD9 is acceptable when my digital camera holds more memory just for pics?
Oh really? You know this from the "sequel" governing board? Surely you've NEVER experienced a movie or sequel that was worse than the original. haha.
I had no idea they managed drake with 37k and still managed to make him look so good in cinematics using the same model
Excerpt: "Drake however never gets LOD.. except for multiplayer.. but single player is the high resolution model the whole time.. same model that is in the cinematics."
I am not a God of War fan... but those visuals are superb. Makes me want to at least rent it and see what this one is all about.
@Money: DMC4 better? http://image.com.com/gamesp...
You my friend just nominated yourself for the Darwin Award for the Month. Let look at Dante's or the demon's non-existant shadows... noticing something wrong there? Oh right, the ...
To summarize all this bullcr*p i'm reading: Natal just needs to "work". Let's get that through the door before we start banking all the other "wishes".
With regards to the face: This time around, the team at Bioware has definitely improved the art style for character textures. I think looking at the wrinkles between the nose and mouth and around the chin you see more fine striations. While the textures of the face seem to improve overall, the actual polygon count on the characters doesn't seem to haven't increased.
However that being said, I do think Bioware was able to push more polygons this time around, specifically with the...
While I can agree there are games with better texture work than MGS4, I cannot agree that most 360 games have surpassed that title. Have you seen how many locales that game covers and how well it avoids using repeating stacked boxes or empty offices like *cough* Fear 2 *cough*.
MGS Rising... i'd like to see what they can fit into one 8 gb disc given its predecessor uses at least 13gb just on game assets excluding CG.
yes yes pour on games from 2006 and 2007, the first two years that programmers were just starting to get the handle of how to program in Assembly for the PS3, delegate tasks to the SPUs, and figure out how everything works.
I am reading these sly 360 fanboy comments and I have had enough of these half-assed arguments you guys keep coming up with.
You brought up an interesting comparison starchild.
I'd really like to see how the 360 handles the physics in some o...
I beg to differ MGSR. Whoever did the textures in ME2 for that charc is certainly amazing and probably could rival Heavy Rain's in talent and expertise (that I am not questioning), but ME2's poly counts are nowhere near Heavy Rain's or even Drakes's. Look no further than the ears or the outline of the face and eyes (for the most obvious examples) and compare it with the shots from Heavy Rain. It is clear as day that the poly-count is far less. How many triangles do you think it takes to ge...
