no lubdzz, it's because UE3 really is outdated at this point. And two, frankly the 360 WOULD benefit from a newer development engine anyway. And yes UE3 games looked GREAT in 2006, but that was THREE (3) years ago.

Brink's bright colors remind me more of uncharted2 than killzone2. I don't think the lighting is in the same league though than either title though.
I think the teaser was in-game assets, but not sure the developer will be able to pull that amount of action onscreeen at the same time. Look at the aircraft he gets into near the end. Its got a barebones interior with no seats... a bit overly simplified. The demo gameplay seems to confirm this.
If you look at the crysis pic carefully, it is only the face that is impressive polygonally. Look at the body and those angular shoulder pads and you know the body is lower poly than even uncharted and is just conveniently hidden with a depth of field blur.

Basically this article suggests that reading resolution off screen dumps wasn't reliable. Quite alot of fibbing was going along in the early 360 titles being released as being even "720p".

I'd like to know how every one of you who has seen Independence Day or 28 days later, can say that ODST's War Torn cityscape themed game is a masterpiece. Its sooo empty and barren. Where are all the upturned parked vehicles, objects piled on the ground, dead people on the streets. I think Demon souls as an RPG gives Dragon Age a very good run for the money. Both are superlative in their respective executions of the RPG genre. I find each of their worlds fascinating, though i would obviously give the edge to Dragon Age for dialogue (Bioware FTW!) and Demon Souls for far more realistic portrayal/gameplay (Funcom FTW!). Suprisingly to me even, I give equal marks for both games being punishing. I keep reloading Demon Souls for not playing a perfect game, but just as trag...
