And yet in most places the Vita is moving more than the WiiU. Even in Japan.
They had a Zelda game before the launch of the WiiU.
According to Ninty diehards it was all just a tech demo, auctioning off the WiiU with things it was never going to achieve.
@neoandrew: It was never stated zombies nor multiplayer would not feature split screen. The campaign will not be the only split screen experience nor would online be required to play zombies.
Skyrim barely ran at 30. Halo had to, if reports are to be believed, ditch split screen to even hit 60 and they aren't even talking about a locked 60. The only place it's available is Xbox One, not being "held back" by 360.
The fact is the only console that's going to offer 1080/60 and still offer four player co-op both offline and online is the PS4. If 343 told the truth about the removal of split screen for Halo 5 to even get 1080/60 it won't be po...
It's right on the case for 360 and PS3. It however is not "online only".

The WiiU in Japan is selling over 25X better than Xbox One. In the same note PS4 is selling over 50X better.
The excuses for Xbox One to not even meet 1K are getting desperate. Taking in all the data every other system is doing what it does in Japan. Xbox is doing its usual squat.
CoD will have a four player split screen/online combo hosting a 1080/60 single player experience.
Sounds like Halo but without missing split screen and being multiplatform.
I've played on both and don't see a difference
Because Kinect 2.0 would start flying off of shelves at $149 MSRP all to solely use Cortana that has no problem separating itself from the $149 peripheral on other MS devices /s
Destiny also doesn't have previous entries running split screen nor was it ever intended for Destiny to have split screen. They also aren't saying the next Destiny may have split screen while the current one is just launching.
Treyarch is doing it and they're part of a third party company.
1080/60 single player experience
Four player split screen
Online co-op
Once again odd third parties can make it happen and without the excuses a first party is giving.
No it will not. If even actually possible 343 has already been quite blatant to say they can't do both.
They can't. Other devs don't seem to have problems.
The better question is why they can't do both while other third party devs do
Eh, iffy. I could see them finding a sweet spot between Xbox One and PS4 just to keep costs a little lower.
I'm just wondering what they're going to choose for physical media. If rumors are true and they aren't planning on having any sort of optical drive... I dunno. It's just way, way risky and could be costly. Look at the backlash from Xbox Ones reveal with forced online check-in. Nintendo'd be pushing that direction a tad.
But if you go with that logic the WiiU should've gained more before the launch of Xbox One and PS4. It didn't receive many things PS3/360 did while having higher specs and slightly better resources.
Nintendo I do think could benefit from Rockstar but good luck. Nintendo seems to like to steer clear.
All of that is true as well with the OS needing half of the resources and how much the GamePad actually takes. If you look at pre-launch however they promised and showed third party support that would produce greater results than PS3 & Xbox 360. In many aspects they greatly failed there.
Games like Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed, and others were touted by Nintendo to be the best on WiiU. Things like missing DLC & no real upgrade hindered those titles but by both f...
Taking that stance is what has the WiiU in the position that it's in
@Professor_K: Yes, yes it is. However Halo 5 is not being ran on a PS Now sort of setup. You cannot just stream it rather than downloading the full game.
Thus the disagrees. You can't just use the cloud.
Gotta get the Nintendo hype train re-rolling with missing facts and a vague perspective of what the system "can do".
Sounds about like the way they handled the Wii and WiiU.
