XBL on 360 at least has been slow for a few days including signing in, downloads, and general loading.
The difference being FFVII of course is on more than two last gen consoles and Halo 3 got a remake for Xbox One. Not to mention neither is a wild west shooter set over a hundred years in the past.
@OtakuDJK1NG: Nice argument. The system that got three new titles compared to the system that saw no new releases or top selling titles sold a few thousand less. Not to mention sits at number four below the Vita, PS4, and 3DS.

Stripping features to meet a target also shows a problem. Warzone wouldn't be missing if split screen was included. Having split screen in past titles also didn't stop Halo from advancing.
