Yet they aren't selling the season pass on PS3/360 so nobody is paying for DLC beforehand on the two systems

Your argument is ridiculous.

You're using currently sold numbers to justify the need to go next gen only then go into install base. However the install base of PS3/360 is somewhere in the ballpark of 100 million. Between PS4 and Xbox One they boast 40 million at a top, assuming PS4 is at 25 million and XOne is at 15 million.

No matter what the install base of PS4/Xbox One is still half that of PS3/360.

@Nevin: Clearly not all the way through the PS2 lifecycle. Here Comes The Pain and previous Smackdown! titles were PlayStation exclusive. I'd even bet it's not the same engine from the original Smackdown! vs RAW game. I do however believe the same engine, at its base at least, has been used since Smackdown! vs RAW 2006 or 2007.

Also, PC gamers have paid a subscription, just not to access online as a whole.

World of Warcraft charges a subscription, do they not? What happens when you don't pay that sub?

There are many examples of the practice occurring on PC.

Well, you also didn't pay for PSN, Nintendo online, Dreamcast online, nor PS2 online either. Didn't stop Microsoft.

I like it personally but more for the controller. I still wish they'd have made the system the same grey color at least to make them match more but oh well.

The orange looks much better on the controller than the system. The power and eject buttons being orange is kind of neat though.

Overall the 1TB and the game makes it worth it.

Those features are already available and have been...

I've been able to download Office for my Android for some time. Apple products have also been able to use Skype.

A lot of that is an extreme stretch and not indicated in my post. I could care less if Nintendo starts charging for network access. If they do so however the fact will remain. The network isn't on par with other services nor the times. Besides. MS has always hinted they want to find a way to charge for Live via PC. With Windows 10 that becomes a larger possibility due to so much being Live centered.

Problems I see:

1) Used the GamePad as the main attracti...

@343_Guilty_Spark: Some do. The existence of this label however shows the "'Murican" mentality.

@MoldyBread: The PS4 has been outselling the 3DS in Japan continuously. Japan clearly wants a home console and has a place for one. It however is not the Xbox One. Hell. There's still room for WiiUs which don't even meet Vita numbers in Japan but at least moves enough to keep a spot.

If it was going to happen it already would have. Nintendo heads have went on record however as stating they don't have plans for a price drop, citing losses.

They also claimed at the same time that they'd be lowering the cost of games but that clearly hasn't happened either.

"I dont know if they can make the network any better" They better be able to or that system will mean shit. There's a thousand and two problems with the WiiU as a whole. The network is one of them.

The WiiU was supposed to be a "bang up system"

Nintendo may be profitable. The WiiU, not so much.

Here's the irony:

How would anyone know when MS hasn't released numbers for months and are now stating they're no longer releasing numbers?

Kinda sure you need Xbox One numbers to know it's "better than 360 and PS3 lastgen.."

Also yes, people leave companies all the time. However they do not do it on a whim and if better opportunities aren't available sane people don't move.

Oh, and there'...

Microsoft should be up 11% due to the release of Windows 10. They still make money on it easily.

We also know the Xbox division is down 17%. You however are choosing to ignore that while investors will not.

Just wow. MS is super desperate and if this is any sort of indication Xbox One isn't doing as great as MS would've liked others to think. Hiding numbers behind a veil while Nintendo has bigger problems moving WiiU but still releases numbers shows quite a bit.

I also find this comment particularly interesting: "We've been told that this metric now reflects users that have logged in within the past month. No differentiation has been made between gold (paying) a...

They've already stated DLC isn't happening. You can find evidence of this with Nuk3town being included for PS4/Xbox One but not available to PS3/360.

@81BX: Sorry your product aimed for a visual experience instead delivering a half baked product that still can't boast everything a third party title does.

Sorry I also stated "facts" delivered by 343 themselves as to why split screen is missing but "possible in the next entry".

Sorry your fanboy panties are in a twist and as facts have shown Xbox One just can't do it. Even Xbox exclusive devs admit it.

If it's...
