Yeah right? Try reading more than the headline. Like the entire article. Otherwise why is this pertinent to the article?

“On January 11, 2019, the Company disclosed that it would be separating from its design and development partner Bungie, Inc. ("Bungie") and that Bungie will assume full publishing rights and responsibilities for the Destiny franchise. Bungie had developed the Destiny franchise with Activision as publisher. In the first five days of the Destiny...

Two of those will result in an insta no buy for me. I don’t mind digital as an option but nothing should be digital only.

And, if Sony does go with cartridges backwards compatibility won’t be happening to the level it should. It’d be a lot like the Vita situation going from UMD of PSP to cartridge on Vita. Digital only backwards compatibility. Then with titles being removed from PSN or never added at all that list would be small compared to what could be.

@Ohnaaaaw: What you demonstrated would fall in line with “triggered”.

Since you recommend buying a dictionary as well please pick one up and locate the term “SJW”. I’d wager you won’t find it as frankly it’s a term being thrown around and used in ways that benefit the user.

For example we can see in this very topic individuals attempting to skew diversity, a real and legitimate word into a “SJW” agenda. Therefore one would have to assume SJWs stand for di...

In this instance shouldn’t you want the console versions to get fixed and receive more content? Then if a PC version does happen there’d at least be a good chance PC would receive more of a complete package.

“The very next day after Christmas, retail stores announced a price cut. The PlayStation Classic had dropped down to $59.99, a 40% drop from its original launch price.”

Clickbait. Sony hasn’t announced a price cut. Retailers are price cutting it because they can’t sell the thing.

Not just authenticity but personality too. Most people have some pretty good meanings behind the tattoos that they choose. Adding a generic one or removing them all together causes players to lose part of who they are.

Granted in this instance it’s a video game representation but that representation is a reflection of each individual player.

Except with a laptop, tablet, or PS Vita.

Again, the same applies to Xbox as well minus PS Vita.

Yes via laptops, tablets, or PS Vita. The same also applies to Microsoft minus PS Vita.

PCs have “small portable devices” called laptops & tablets. Most have more resources at their disposal versus Switch.

Why would Microsoft have to? Xbox One provides backwards compatibility. PS4 does not.

According to reports mobile devices may actually be the most popular way to play games and many people game across multiple devices. Granted mobile represents many kinds of games from little tossers to full fledged titles, both exclusive and multiplatform.

PlayStation Plus wasn’t a thing in 2006

You’ll get more options elsewhere anyway. All titles via PlayStation Classic will be in their original format with no improvement or additional features. Devices like PS3 offer at least smoothing and scaling. Plus PS3, PS2, and PSOne would be able to allow access to previous saves since all three offer some sort of support for PSOne memory cards.

Rumble can be present across all three, DualShock style controllers, a much larger library. 60hz support also helps.

PS4 doesn’t even have 100M consoles moved to consumers. Even IF they did less than one in five will purchase RDR2. 20M is a far cry from 100M.

“In addition, the company also has a revised Xbox One S SKU that is targeted for later in the year that focuses solely on cost reduction but does feature a disc-drive for those who still prefer the traditional way to buy your games. Microsoft is moving forward very carefully with this product as it knows that a sizeable portion of its users do prefer to buy physical games and not download them.”

Uh, why wouldn’t Nintendo split the install base? They do at this moment with 3DS by having titles that do not work on anything less than “New 3DS” leaving 2DS and older 3DS models out of the equation.

They’ve also done so in the past with things like RAM adapters and the Expansion Pak.

Devs are already upgrading their titles and allowing for backwards compatibility on Xbox One. Red Dead Redemption is enhanced on Xbox One from the 360 version and the upgrade has no cost affixed for previous owners, disc or digital.

Lock out additional income? Red Dead Redemption on top of other titles already show that enhancing titles can equate to new sales and more revenue.

@Cobra951: Sony disagrees with that assessment. 0:45 to 1:02 shows losses even in still images going from native 4K to “Pixel Shifting Technology”.
