This has no CD drive exactly like the PS4 also doesn’t
“The free games are only available for active Gold and PS+ subscribers and become unplayable if the subscription lapses.”
Not entirely true as Xbox 360 titles you receive with Games with Gold are yours to keep regardless of subscription
Six months is longer than the instantaneous loss with Nintendo. Where’s the spin or lack of information? Nintendo even states it clearly on their UK FAQ.

“After my Nintendo Switch Online subscription expires, will my Save Data Cloud files and Nintendo Entertainment System – Nintendo Switch Online save data be erased?
How absolutely stupid. What’s next? Claw machines and arcades asking for ID? As it’s “psychologically akin to gambling” in the same way.
Bubblegum machines because you may not get your favorite flavor or even a flavor you want? No more sticker machines either as there’s only a chance you’ll get the one you want and there’s zero way to know which one you’re going to get.
Sony experimented with all digital before Microsoft did in the handheld/console market.
Nintendo has games running solely via streaming with no physical version available or even possible. They’re also trying to find more ways to justify their new online services and have even stated internally they believe streaming alternatives to be a larger part of their future.
Sony is also pushing services like PS Now, PS Vue, PS Video, and other streaming only alte...

Sony clears saves from PlayStation Plus cloud storage after six months without a subscription.
The rest of what you said is pretty accurate though.
@rainslacker: Ugh. I can’t believe people agreed with that.
You’re talking about PS+ games, probably knowing the above individual specifically said PS Now.
The answer would be zero. Even with internet access you aren’t guaranteed to be able to use PS Now content as if you don’t meet speed requirements the titles won’t even start.
Games with Gold and Game Pass titles do act the way your example states though as both are downloaded to the...
I’ve never needed a Xbox or PlayStation product to be online to keep playing things I had downloaded prior. To use online features sure but not to start the title short of online only titles. And even some of those allow you to attempt to start.
That it is. I still play as well and have friends that also play. I noticed they also recently introduced more Pokestops and gyms in many areas so that also helps quite a bit, particularly for the small areas.
A good part is likely the introduction of Friends and the ability to trade. Was a missing feature for a long time that many wanted.
Game needs to be remastered as a multiplatform title though I imagine gaining rights to the music and likeness of a lot of the older superstars is out of the question.
Update the roster with more wrestlers, add in trophies/achievements, give it an online mode, and update the graphics. Would be better than most of the Smackdown vs RAW and WWE 2K titles. It could also give 2K an extra year to figure out what they’re doing with new titles rather than the same copy and paste.
@Dragonscale:
“its what he's implying thats annoying” Is it what’s implied or things you’re pushing as implied? What he stated was a simple sentence and view associated with the topic here. Sony isn’t exactly being consumer friendly with the three mentioned infractions. Like clearing PSN wallets after a period of time? That’s literally taking money from the consumer that wasn’t spent on a product. Thus taking something for nothing. What’s next? If I attach a credit card or debit ...
And yet this topic isn’t about Microsoft and awkwardly Microsoft isn’t mentioned a single time in the story. Likely because Sony received a C&D order, the entire topic along with why they are. Stfowts seems more appropriate here.
There was one released Daredevil game and one that never saw the light of day due to issues with all parties involved. Those parties being Marvel, Sony, and 5000ft Inc.

@gunnhed: That’s a terrible analogy too as in this instance Nintendo would also be building the road alongside cars that aren’t going down the road they built either. Intentionally.
Why are we trying to use analogies again? It’s simple. Nintendo is releasing a feature that they themselves are dismissing then justifying why their titles won’t be able to use it. Are third parties also involved? Sure but Nintendo should be the first adding support, not finding reasons not to a...
Meh. We’ve seen Iron Man games too. I’d love to see a Black Widow/Hawkeye game. Their story is dark, gritty, and really under utilized. Plus it’d be easy to build a story around the evolution of both characters.
Exploring the X-Men better would also be a given for Xbox. Xbox, X-Men, come on.
Ugh, I don’t really want to take the time to point out all the holes in this argument. The main one I’d say is if the road has potholes is it then up to us to fill them? Bumpy roads? Plus as citizens we don’t set the speed limits.
The question I’d ask though pertaining to Nintendo and cloud saves is simple. Why is it some of these titles are first party to Nintendo? Nintendo devs not using Nintendo features isn’t really a good sign.
HZD didn’t receive more than one patch on day one. It didn’t have as many patches as Spider-Man even after week one.

PS4 can’t offer true backwards compatibility. Both this product and the PS4 have no CD capabilities.
Awkward when the PSOne was created to show what CD storage could do for gaming.
