Blu-Ray, RROD, 2008 Sony Line-Up of exclusive games, Warner Bros....all of these factors are coming together to make this the second year that Sony beats Microsoft in this latest generation. This year, however, it won't even be close.
These numbers come as no surprise---although they are coming earlier than I expected.

Exactly. EA is suddenly speaking so highly of the PS3. You know why? The PS3 outsold the Xbox360 in 2007. That's exactly why. These companies will jump ship with no qualms when it comes to the bottom line.

I said that people were saying that Microsoft was doing poorly in many fronts, and that they should do a google search to see what people are saying. Well, here's an example of what I'm talking about.
Still too early to say that Microsoft is a huge, lumbering, slow sinking ship. But the signs seem to point that way and I would not be surprised at all if this article is very accurate.

Ha. People were saying the HDDVD would fight back after getting whooped 90-10 and that Blu-Ray couldn't keep it's momentum. I imagine that all of the activists who don't believe HDDVD is dead tried their best to buy as many HDDVD products from amazon as possible. Well, the truth always prevails in the end.

EA is subject to bandwagon-jumping just like any other company that wants to make money. I'm sure that their "problems" with developing for the PS3 will suddenly disappear in 2008. Hapimeses hit it on the head.

No need to elaborate since, if you read what I said again, I only stand firmly behind the fact that Microsoft has a lot of money. As to what "people" have said, a simple Google search will do you wonders and answer that far better than I can.

This is absolutely untrue. It's hard to believe that people are allowed to say such lies. If 90% of DS owners are using pirated gear, then we all should know easily know somebody who does it. I don't. I know many people who have a DS and they don't either.
I would believe this if they said that 90% was the 360 RROD failure rate, because I personally know that to be a fact among the 360 owners that I know as a friend. But this? This is either complete crap or a typo.

Chrono Trigger? Get outta here, man...that game didn't do anything for the RPG market like FF7 did. You don't see petitions for a Chrono Trigger remake (well, not as many), nor do you see official Chrono Trigger spin-offs, movies, sequels, etc.

No clear signs of Microsoft busting out with the 720 in '09. That would be suicide for them.
At this point, whatever they do won't help much against the PS3, but...the worst thing they can do is have the 720 in '09.
