I didn't care about this game until now. I was all about Tekken 6. AND I got a PS3. Dang, 2008 rules for PS3. We got Vader, folks!

"Penello noted that, outside of Halo 2, internal data points to low numbers of backward compatible games being played on Live, with BC updates "not being downloaded that much anymore.""

Ummm...surprise?

Amen and agreed.

This industry has gotten so huge that game reviewers need to write with responsibility. They need to remember the original rule of American journalism, and that is to write without bias.

I think organizations like Gamespot, 1UP and EGM are getting their just desserts.

Note that Sony is showing off perhaps the biggest game of '08 on their new line of Bravias that they want to sell. Smooth as buttah, Sony is...

They actually said that, despite non-Ps3 Blu Ray players outselling HD-DVD stand-a-lones? Odd. I guess anything can be thought of as true if you ignore hard data.

Meanwhile, I was slow to believe that Microsoft would add an external Blu Ray player to their system, but now that somebody from Microsoft stated it, I suppose that is indeed what will happen.

Right, Blade. Exactly right. Let's see for ourselves how useful it is before bashing it. I know that the people in my house use SKYPE very much and I've got the new PSP. So we'll see what's up.

Yep. We have to understand that Paramount will do what their investors say. They will not risk losing their stock by standing up for a dead format.

Paramount is still supporting HD-DVD...

...until they don't.

No lies or contradictions here. This spokesperson is simply stating what we all know as being the present case.

This article in no way goes against the very credible word of Financial Times.

Round Peg...haha...I have to agree with you there. Once Sony actually acts humble about something, you know they're not worried anymore.

Word. And check this at the end:

"I quizzed the rep on the possibility of Skype coming to the PS3 and although she couldn’t give away anything concrete, it sounds distinctly like Sony is committed to bringing more communications tools to all of its gaming systems, including the PS3."

Skype coming to PS3.

PS3 rolls up 360 like a blunt and smokes 'em again....

Personally, I'm blown away. Sony must have 1,000 people who just sit around and figure out ways to add whatever they can into the PS3 and PSP. It's nuts.

Oh my goodness..Sony is just going nuts here. Do they ever stop thinking of ways to be cool? I mean, seriously...they are just blowing me away. Sony doesn't wait and react. They always try their best to be the first in everything. This means that they make a lot of mistakes too, but when they succeed...boy it really pays off.

Sony's got balls.

This is awesome.

We actually won the format war, we who bought the PS3. So Sony does need to thank us. But yeah, owning the PS3 has been a pleasure as well. :)

Best Buy needs to go exclusive as they sell the most DVDs. It will happen soon.

Really, you had to be only of average intelligence to know that Warner would go Blu after Christmas.

Now that this is taking place, there really are no more surprises and no more wise predictions. Even a dummy can predict that Target, Best Buy, and other retailers and studios will go Blu now.
