Considering the number of AAA games out there, in this exploding industry, why settle for less? Why waste your money and time? Why eat a peanut-butter-and-jelly sandwich when you can have steak?

Shadowhearts Covenant sucked tho. It was nowhere near as good as the original ShadowHearts.

As a long time RPGer, I can say that of all genres of videogames, there's nothing worse than playing through a mediocre-to-sucky RPG. It's like sitting through a long and boring lecture that gets even longer because it's such a horrible time.

I played through and thoroughly enjoyed Jean D'Arc. These guys have style and know what's up.

Word. I bowl, play baseball and dance in real life. When I game I want to game.

Agreed. Let the Wii have their audience but please don't turn all of gaming into Wii-gaming. PLEASE.

...IS THE GAME I'M WAITING FOR.
It's seriously the PS3 game I think I'll most enjoy over and above all PS3 games, since I'm an RPG fan.
12
Well, fact is that I don't want to talk about the Wii2, Ps4 OR Xbox 720(do you really think it will be called the 720? I mean, I see the thinking but it really doesn't hold much meaning besides the obvious. At least "360" has a lot of symbolism around it!). It annoys me that we can't just focus on what we have now, with systems that haven't even truly showcased their full potential yet.
That being said, I would honestly be surprised if the 720 comes out THAT late. I wou...
Considering all the talk about Home, Life with Playstation, etc...kinda disappointed but...
I'll TAKE IT!!!!

Yes, I am a Sony fanboy. You speak of that as if its a bad thing! :)
I buy purely Sony products and Nintendo handheld products, and games tailored to those devices. It's how I like it.
Every generation has different conditions but this time around, I'm certainly not going to waste my time buying a game that could have been put on a Sony console AND better hardware!
12
Yes, and I highly enjoyed the games that were PS2 console specific, like ICO, which IMO matched any game the original Xbox had graphically. You can do so much more with a game when you make it according to a certain hardware.
12
It is true and I'm not sad about it. I want games that are tailored to superior hardware---not ones that are built to the general standard. That's why I bought a PS3.
I don't respect companies that make nonsense decisions based merely on money.
12
Hentai---I love you and you made my day. :) Bubbles for you.

This news makes me VERY happy and I might forgive SE now. I have boycotted all of their products due to selling out and taking out console specific goodies that could have been for the PS3 in FFXIII. They pissed me the heck off.
But seeing the FFXIII Demo is PS3 exclusive...
And now this...
They are warming my heart a bit more.
IF this news turn out to be true, that is.

I just hope my friendslist works again when this is all over. :(

Word. Unlike Capcom, Square-Enix...making games multi-plat for the money will pay off in the short-run. But in the long-run, the well-made games that are console-specific will be the ones most remembered and treasured.
You want legacy? Or do you want to be a sell-out? Kojima has chosen the former and single-handedly made the Summer of '08 a great summer for gaming, unlike any summer in the past.
12
Henceforth now and forever more, all 360 fans who still talk about it coming to their system have no lives and should play their own games.
Poor Kojima...I can understand what he's talking about. The dude wants people to talk about the GAME...not the hardware! Granted, he wanted to make sure it was on the BEST hardware, but nevertheless it's the game that should be spoken about more than what it's on.
He's an artist and you can see that clearly. Let the man move on f...
FIRST DAY PURCHASE FOR ME.
Going to see if I can find this on amazon right now...
12
Agreed...this was one of my favorite games every back in the day. Would have loved any form of a remake.
12
I'll stick with steak and leave the PP&J for kids who don't know better. :)

P.S. WOAH! Star Ocean 3 was NOT terrible! That was one of my favorite RPGs of all time, sorry.
