I just went to which.co.uk and sent them an email complaining about the fact that game and gamestation are ripping customers off by getting the stock and selling it at their raised price.
So who really suffers at the end of the day? not the supermarkets or the national game chain stores and franchises, but the ordinary punter and the (really) independent stores. Of course behind all this is the main console wholesalers and suppliers who are falling into the supermarket snar...
So Game and Gamestation unashamedly admit they prevent customers from buying cheaper by getting to the consoles first and then selling them on at their own more expensive price. Is this legal?
Blimey, What a depressing story. I bought a 60 gig machine when they first came out and played every PS2 game I own with no problems. I've stuck a 250 gig drive in it since then and it's working ok (fingers crossed) I would be gutted if this happened to me. I'm gonna go out and buy a usb hard drive and back up my stuff now.
Ok N4G "the games afoot"! as Sherlock would say Use this discussion to dish out the betas and be done with it. All us lot here need to do is add each other as friends and get to it with Sackboy. Do us all a favour and save us from the LBP Hype Tsunami.
Let's see if the N4G servers could survive that! Seriously at least a bunch of people who know each other could get some LBP time in. keep it all in-house without any hurdles or inane competitions
response to skv007 It's not the game, (OK my rant does sound like it) its that Media Molecule have gone down that well trodden path of messing fans about. If there were just a few opportunities to get hands on a big handful of betas some of us would be lucky and some not - well that's life. But to announce, every few days, that some site somewhere is giving away x number of beta keys is just taking the piss (as we English say) As I said it's disrespectful. I'm no...
I have been watching all this nonsense with some interest. Once again a developer has gone to far in the hype and is now just messing fans around. Shame on you Media Molecule. You can stick sackboy where the sun don't shine Media Molecule have put me right off buying LBP. I feel they have gone one beta release too far. A few thousand here, a few thousand there, a couple of hundred a few days later. Beyond a certain point their marketing method lost re...
I bought R2 limited edition on Gamestop a couple of weeks ago and an email arrived with a key and the message: " You are now guaranteed Premier access to the Resistance 2™ Beta, which means you can play during the entire Public Beta period! Watch your PLAYSTATION®Network e-mail Inbox for further instructions as you will receive an e-mail that includes step-by-step instructions on how to download the Resistance 2™ Beta code and how to get started playing both the co-op an...
Here is the first paragraph. makes more sense in Japanese: SONY [konpiyutaentateinmento] (SCE) next term game console “PLAYSTATION 4 (PS4)”, Cell Broadband Engine (Cell B.E.) real examination has been begun with the direction which is made the architecture base. Presently, you infer the reaction of the game developer, you are said that it is the stage which searches concrete mounting. SCE, when in the PS4 generation production cost is lowered from the PS3 generation, simultaneously, see...
Nice back-story starting to emerge. Maybe R3 will have a European location - Rome, Paris, Madrid, Seville - anywhere there are notable landmarks to fight Chimera.
Join the dots fellas. The decision to port over to 360 was greed before reason, simple as that. My guess is that Microsoft hasn't done enough to help out - deliberately to create a situation that pisses off PS3 owners - and what do Square care as long as their pockets are bulging? Square and in particular Final fantasy XIII has just become Microsoft's "female dog"
