Pretty Good call Deadend. 2011 is definitely going to be the year of the Threequels. My top 5 / 6 are - in Alphabetical order since they will all equally turn me into a bleedin' insomniac.
Spot on review. I really enjoyed Enslaved, reminded me a lot of Uncharted, great characters, dialogue, gameplay and story. And as for FFXIV - bloody frustrating, pain in the ass, game. I uninstalled after a week of annoying crap. I hope to god square sorts it out. It has so much potential. I'll give it a couple of months before I reinstall and pay for a subscription.
Still not convinces. Besides, what difference does all this speculative hype make. While the recession crawls ever onwards is any hardware manufacturer gonna risk investing in a whole new production, development, marketing system to develop a product that - at the end of the day doesn't add that much to PSP gaming?
Most definitely. get friendly with your local indy game store and get the game 3 days ahead of schedule - when they take delivery of stock. Works for me every time. I even got the first 60gb PS3 days before release. Good luck fella!
My guess is that it'll be primarily a gaming machine but with 3g and bluetooth for mobile telephony. It wouldn't need more than that to keep it as primarily a gaming device with phone options - and not the other way round.
Since Disney now own Marvel, and KH is a Square-Disney team up why can't we see Square/FF/KH characters team up (of come up against)Marvel heroes and villains? Now that would be KH3 Awesomeness
I don't think the numbers matter, If the game has something original, is fresh and at the same time has kept whatever it was that made the originals great, then bring it on. The only example I can think of is Die Hard movies, the second film was crap, but 3 and 4 were really good films. And look how long James Bond has been going for. Resistance 3 looks miles better than 1 and 2 and takes the story further. I can't see a problem with keeping a series ...
Let's hope so. The more developers can push games to merge with movie experience, the better. If Dead Space can join the likes of Uncharted, Mass Effect then all the better. And as for the latest Resistance 3 footage, well the crisp quality of real-time gameplay was visually awesome.
The guy is clearly an out and out dangerous nut-case. Sex offender, so obviously his perverse needs stand in place of any natural sense of protective responsibility for kids. So it's no surprise that he doesn't give a damn about kids with cancer and what might ease their suffering. Like all sex offenders, there is something seriously wrong in this guys head. But then again, a lot of ruthless corporate 'leaders' and heartless bankers are the same, don't give a damn ...
Developers, marketers, whoever. They can say what the hell they like. Truth is it all boils down to how much fun the game is. A lot goes into delivering quality graphics, gameplay, story, music, multiplayer experience and this is what really matters, not what some wankers harp on about trying to make the game out to be something that it isn't
If you really want to blow the top off your head there's o nly one way. Lock yourself away with these games. Mass Effect 2 Killzone 3 inFAMOUS 2 Resistance 3 The Last Guardian L.A. Noire SOCOM 4 Uncharted 3
Killzone raised the FPS bar and despite how good MW, MW2 and Black Ops are The Guerilla guys continue to excel in producing the most gritty and immersive fps shooter.
Oh Please. The Movie was the biggest pile of pretentious crap ever. Don't get me wrong. I loved the first Matrix movie. But Inception was nothing more than one simple idea and an orgy of sfx. Think I'll pass on the game fellas.
