Looking better all the time. Isn't anyone else worried about the average battery life though? You'd think the technology would have moved ahead a bit. Why not kinetic / solar recharging?

Be interesting to see if the memory cards have spare capacity to store save data, or other media from the device. With all that functionality, We'll need a lot of space to store our pictures, movies, saves etc. I haven't seen any info on storage capacity.
No physical media. if there's a camera and other media capability, then the things gotta have one very big hard drive or some kind of back-up to pc / external storage function.

This used to be news when the first big installs appeared but now it's to be expected. I have around 100Gb left. and I'm thinking of buying a new machine and jamming in a 750Gb drive - just for all my music, movies and pictures.

One simple reason for this - Playstation only does everything. Finally people are waking up to the PS3. The flood of fantastic exclusives like Killzone 3, Resistance 3, Infamous 2, Uncharted 3. BBC iPlayer, 4onDemand, ITV, Mubi.
Is nobody worried that: 1. These kinds of sales continually push out the indy traders. 2. Once the big sellers have control of the market they'll force prices down so they get more profit by putting> pressure on developers to drop prices which leads to lower salaries and working conditions.
I buy all my stuff from an indy trader and get everything about 3 days ahead of everyone else.
