This looks nice and the whole presentation was fun and showed off a nice mix of solid-looking games, not much fluff at all.

I agree to a certain extent, it's newly added to Standard teir GP, so I see the reasoning for what they did.
Hmmm, every time I see a Gamepass wave announcement they always state where you can play them, (PC), (Console), or (Cloud) or a combination. After the teir split, they have listed (GP Standard) or (GP Ultimate).
I have never gotten confused as to where the games are going.

More importantly, they always run silky smooth wherever you play them. I appreciate that performance is never an issue, out of the many issues people have with the series.

Not entirely true at all, since Infinite came out, true Halo fans like my Son has been known the the engine was using old but updated tech.
As for the larger majority of people how the hell were we to complain about something that we were not fully aware of? That's how it works, Devs tell us their struggle and we either believe them or not...

It's not just talking about graphics...if you played Infinite the gameplay was super fun, gun play, gameplay loop, sound and the campaign was excellent...only held back by the one Biome.
The problem was obviously the engine and management at the time, just look at the progress and level of multiplayer updates that we have seen for the game since the shake up..night and day difference from the launch
