Valkyria Chronicles was my first and favorite PS3 game of all time.
The writing in this article gave me cancer. It's almost as if middle schoolers are allowed to be journalists these days.
The Vita memory cards are the only flaw in an otherwise nearly perfect handheld game system.
The PS4's power as it stands is already going to have an enormous amount of difficulty with VR due to the increased dependency on solid frame rate and fludity (these things are strapped to your eyes after all, anything below 60 fps could very well result in motion sickness). This will most likely be even worse with the Xbox One.
As excited as I am for VR, I'm pretty sure Project Morpheus will have a similar relationship with the PS4 as remote play on Vita had with the...
Call of Duty: Crysis Warfare
As much as I would love to take random dumps on other people's consoles, where is your source for the Xbox One parity theory?
That boxart gave me cancer.
Dear Zenimax, this and the Mojang "Scrolls" BS makes me think a whole lot less of your company.
I'm so glad I haven't gotten Pikmin 3 yet. I got the Zelda bundle and Zelda or Pikmin are the only games out of those four I'd get. Two games for the price of one.
I wouldn't be too hung up about their controller claims. As nice as their controls may be, a professional with a wheel will always be better. You just can't emulate a real wheel with a tiny thumbstick.
I'm really glad they're showing straight up, in game screenshots, instead of the fake GTX Titan crap that happened with Forza 5. Project Cars looks good and is honest.
The value ratio that you are all discussing has far too many factors for there to possibly be an all compassing, blanketing statement to succinctly explain this. For instance, how much work was put into the remake? Was it just a resolution bump or are there better textures, polygons, lighting, physics, etc.? Are there enhanced gameplay mechanics, added content, or included DLCs?
Questions like "are remakes worth it?" can't be answered with a simple yes or no. As...
@SPAM-FRITTER-123 Wow. I love Grid and I never said anything against it. I was just making a whimsical observation. Way to get your panties in a bunch.
You walked right into that one.
Nintendo has always been weak when it comes to online infrastructure.
I feel the same way about remastered games as I feel about blu ray classics, new model years of cars, or the newest version of the iPhone.
Love Ni no Kuni but I don't think that's the point they're making. They're arguing that JRPG will never return to the apex that it rose to before the post PS3/Xbox 360 era. The reasoning is pretty simple, video games used to be a pretty niche culture that's not been expanded to a much more mainstream audience. It only makes sense that JRPGs would only be a fraction of that market, similar to anime or manga.
The odd thing about this footage is that is just reminds me how incredible fixed camera angles were at scaring the living crap out of me. For me RE4 and beyond never quite captured the pure terror from RE 1,2, and 3, and I'm guessing it's partly due to the camera angles.
@scotmacb What's your definition for "winning"? If it's most console sales then even the Xbox 360 lost to PS3 despite an entire year headstart and $100 price difference.
"I have no doubt Sony’s PS4 has a an approximately equivalent system, although that should be a bit more relaxed due its higher hardware horsepower."
Maybe you should read the article next time.
Less competition for DriveClub, The Crew, Project Cars, and (maybe) Forza Horizon 2. Better quality Need for Speed. What's not to love?
