I don't think the Ouya team (or anyone else for that matter) predicted the amount of support Sony would give indies with PS4 and Vita.
I hope I'm not the only one who finds it horrifically insensitive that the first thing you think of when you see "11-Year Old Stabbed to Death" is your own freedom to play video games.
I get it. 1st amendment. Whatever. I love violent video games too but sometime you guys and your pitchforks scare me.
Might not be crap but it sure is crap value.
Differences with 6th gen:
- PS2 launched a year early like Wii U
- PS2 is the weakest console of the three
- Xbox sales were more comparable to Gamecube whereas Xbox One sales are more comparable to PS4
However, if you compare the Wii U to the Dreamcast then everything makes sense.
- Wii U launched a year earlier than PS4, just like Dreamcast launched a little over a year earlier than PS2
- Wii U is significantly weaker than PS4, j...
Yeah, he loved it so much he decided to give Xbox One the better exclusive DLC.
@CERN: Or you can just spend an extra $100-$200 the next time you buy a laptop to make sure it can play games. I know so many people who pay $600-700 for a laptop with a blazing fast CPU but no discrete graphics. It's a goddamn waste of money. If those people spent the extra money to get discrete graphics then they'd have systems rivaling consoles.
While I would be against this for most other games, as a GT gamer I can't really say I care. GT6 includes almost everything from GT5 and its DLCs (for better or for worse) so I don't see the necessity in wasting precious server space keeping it on there.
On the other hand, I'm still furious with them shutting down MAG and Resistance. If they're going to shut down the servers at least give people the capabilities to create their own private servers. Resistance ...
The story isn't focused on the remote itself so much as the mandatory Kinect. The entire point of having Kinect bundled with Xbox One is that everyone would have it and thus everyone could use it. Developers would not longer have to build a game with Kinect functionality for a small audience and thus would be more willing to try new things. Kind of like how the Wii forced developers to think of new controls.
Selling a remote is a cop out. It's equivalent to Wii U'...
As "CPU-intensive" as BF4 may be, CPU's still barely make a difference. Rather than spend $300 on an top of the line Intel CPU, you'd get far better performance spending the same amount on a $100 CPU and putting the extra $200 on a better GPU. That extra $200 spent on the GPU will provide a far greater amount of performance than the CPU. I don't know where you got the idea that modern CPUs bottleneck high performance GPUs (you can read any Tom's Hardware or Guru3D re...
I don't see why you would want it to clean it our automatically. That's like asking Windows to clean out your porn folder when your hard drive gets full without asking.
Still showing up for me.
Valkyria Chronicles was my first PS3 game, and the best.
Christ, over-reacting much??
The man was asked what he thought about development on PS4 and he gave an honest and thorough answer.
Ground Zeroes was easily my most anticipated game when it was first announced. But somewhere between selling off MGS V as two games, the BS platform exclusive content, lack of a PC version, intentional sexualization of Quiet, and the morbid loss of David Hayter, I've just stopped being excited. It's hard for me to respect Kojima anymore and everything he says now just sound like poison. I'll still get the game, it's just getting harder for me to be keep being a fan.
As a PC gamer and a console gamer for the majority of my life, I'd like to offer some input.
PC gamers: Stop being elitist. You're not convincing anyone that the PC is a good platform, you're just being an asshole.
Console gamers: PC gaming isn't expensive. I have a rig I built five years ago for $800 with a Radeon 5850 that still runs everything on high or ultra. In the event that I do need to upgrade, it'd only be $200 for a new GPU, whi...
The problem isn't microtransactions, it's the developers gimping the game on purpose to incentivize them. I don't think there are many gamers angry about Team Fortress 2's hats right?
Microtransactions should be used as a way for gamers to add OPTIONAL experiences to the game. EA is the biggest offender of this, with Real Racing 3, Battlefield Play4Free, and Need for Speed World being almost completely unplayable without shelling out ridiculous amounts of cash...
I would like to politely remind people that this game is currently in alpha and the trailer is fan-made.
This isn't a popular opinion but if the core game has been unaffected by microtransactions, what exactly is the problem? Valve introduced MTs into TF2 and it's been working great. I think people need to understand that not all MTs are exploitative.
In my opinion, if MTs don't affect GT6's core game, then I'm glad they included it. It means the developers get more money from people who have money to spend and I get better quality games. On the other hand, i...
This is what happens when someone who doesn't know anything about computers posts about computers. Chips will very often come with a few processing units disabled. This is done for a variety of reasons, including the reasons stated for the PS4/XBOne. AMD regularly disables an entire core on a quad core processors and ships it off as triple core processors. Sometimes the cores are shut off because their faulty, other time they do it just to maintain stock. In any case, this is not a practi...
