Anyone who hasn't played Portal 2 should be playing Portal 2 right now.
Considering how the next Tomb Raider will be Xbone exclusive, I don't see why you're surprised.
While I agree that graphics aren't nearly as important as gameplay, I'd like to point out that shrinking a 1080p/900p pictures into four times smaller sizes would obviously make the differences less obvious.
This title seems a little bit ridiculous. The author is aware that all servers have a maximum capacity correct?
RIP Okami.
There was no Microsoft payout, that was a rumor.
Gamespot uses 5/10 as average while most sites use 7.5/10 as an average in an effort to mimic school grades. Alien Colonial Marines got a 4.5 and Duke Nukem Forever got a 3. This is why their scores seem lower than other sites.
Seriously. I think that guy's forgotten how old Fallout looks.
I've played both versions. The polygons and textures were a little off-putting at first but overall there was a charm to the characters and animations that couldn't be portrayed in the 2D game. Either way you can't go wrong, IV is easily one of the best FF's ever made.
This whole thing with third party developers and the Vita is so hypocritical. PSP had Crisis Core and Dissidia and ended up selling over 70 million units. Square Enix, like every other third party developer, gives the Vita a port of a PS2 game. Then they raise their hands and claim "it's just doesn't have games!" or "it doesn't have enough sales!" Who the hell is going to buy a Vita for PS2 ports? Assassin's Creed, Uncharted and Call of Duty made original g...
Well considering Dead Rising 3 and Ryse are now on PC, it wouldn't be out of the question for Sunset Overdrive to show up next year.
No one cares.
Exactly. We shouldn't be generalizing the entire gaming industry into thinking "every game should have an offline component." Every game should be considered independently on a case-by-case basis. Maybe Destiny doesn't work well as an always online game, but that doesn't mean it'd be true for all games.
Why aren't these complaints leveled at games like Guild Wars 2? It was also a $60 mmo that didn't require a subscription.
Some games are just meant to be online only, in order to enable a world with persistance. Saying something as ludicrous as "Always Online Will Never Work" when games like WoW and other MMOs were clearly successful doesn't help anyone. Perhaps it doesn't work for Destiny (I haven't play it, I wouldn't know) but that doesn...
The guy from IGN was sharing his own experience with Morpheus. There's no need to snarky about it.
Feeling sick while piloting a spaceship for (presumably) the first time in your life is only a testament to how realistic VR is.
I laughed my ass off after seeing this.
I can't really complain, Kojima always surprises me.
We love what we can do with these boxes. We love it so much were just gonna do it on one box. Xbox.
Unfortunately if it had good set pieces or good anything they'd show it in the trailer or demo, like Uncharted 2's falling building or Uncharted 3's sinking ship. I really wanted The Order to turn it well (especially since I loved the studio's GoW games) but so far it looks like a shooter version of Ryse. I desperately hope they prove me wrong.
VGchartz uses information from a few stores to extrapolate an estimate. Their numbers should always be taken with a huge grain of salt.
