I would love to live in a world where ISPs and video game companies were the worst companies. Instead we live in a world where Monsanto bankrupts millions of small farmers and oil companies lobby for destructive energy sources and no one bats an eye.
You do not need PS camera or PS move for Morpheus to work. Those were shown off in order to demo head tracking and motion controls. Morpheus will work fine with only a dualshock 4, just like Occulus. You are not giving up tacile feedback or whatever.
Sony doesn't make Windows and doesn't have access to Windows code the way Microsoft does. Microsoft could easily put Forza on PC...and they don't. Thats the issue.
Oddly enough, I bought a PS4 during December and another controller in February. The first controller had really grippy sticks that I absolutely loved and the second one had more traditional, plasticy sticks. It looks as if the grippier sticks would be more fragile but I definitely prefer them.
The PAYPAL15 code works for everything except consoles. I went and switched all my preorders from Amazon.
I was pretty concerned after seeing IGN's article but it actually looks pretty damn good. Hope it gets better in time for launch.
@WatDoesTheStarFoxSay Depends where they put their console. I don't see why it's unreasonable to dislike getting off the couch every time you want to play a different game. And then there Remote Play...
1. Sony does not officially support using the DS4 on PS3. That it works is a happy coincidence. Sony is not responsible for overseeing every single detail about unofficial uses or their hardware.
2. These people used the controller to purchase the games with their own hands. Even if they didn't know it, Sony didn't do anything wrong, they did. Giving a refund would be nice, but it's not their responsibility. The same way it isn't their responsibility if you go...
In the past I've purchased multiple quantities of GT5 DLC by mistake and they refunded me quickly.
I recommend all of you to require passwords for PSN purchases. This and other situations like kids, untrustworthy roommates, etc. are all good reasons to have require a password for purchases.
The Last of Us
The Walking Dead
Ni no Kuni
Brothers
Final Fantasy IV
Spec Ops: The Line
...and so many other games have moments far more horrifying and sad than this pathetic article.
@Volkama I'm not saying it's a choice but rather a matter of value. I'm saying that paying $15/month for one game versus less than $5/month for PS Plus is ridiculous. I just can't fathom how good the ESO content could be to warrant that much more money.
He didn't put a game on the Wii and yet Snake still showed up for Brawl.
For the price of a year of ESO, I can get over 3 years of PS Plus (almost twice that if you buy on black Friday) and get awesome games every month for three consoles. What kind of ESO dlc can beat Bioshock Infinite, Remember Me, or Tomb Raider?
He pointed out a horrible practice of pigeonholing indie's into only developing for one platform. IMO, this is classy.
Personally speaking I would rather have two controllers and switch between them instead of burning through batteries and constantly recharging them.
The Vita will be remembered like the SEGA GameGear: A phenomenally powerful and innovative alternative to Nintendo's handhelds that failed miserably to compete.
CoD used to be pretty good before Activision ran it into the ground. If you're looking for a place to start then go with CoD4 or Black Ops. After that BO2 is pretty good but the rest are just meh IMO.
I see news like this and I think back to the old days when publishers weren't so terrified of the internet and people could just host dedicated servers for all their mates. If Respawn went with private servers instead of Microsoft's "cloud" people could just run their own linux servers with bots and all, like Valve lets them with TF2 and CS.
@Rythe I feel sorry for everyone disagreeing with you. It's like they have nothing to do but disagree random people's personal opinions.
@wolokowoh I wasn't actually referring to American farmers but rather indian farmers who have been sold low cost, GMO Monsanto seeds until other seeds companies went bankrupt, then went and raised the prices on their seeds after dominating the market.
