I really don't understand this whole secret sauce stuff. Let's assume the Xbox One really does get better and more efficient graphics later on. Are people just assuming that PS4 developers just sit on their hands and do nothing? Does no one see the difference between the first Uncharted and The Last of Us? And even then, what exactly are people hoping for the Xbox One to achieve? Graphical parity between PS4 and Xbox One? "OUR MORE EXPENSIVE MACHINE FINALLY HAS SIMILAR GRAPHICS T...

Grid: Autosport is kind of an odd name. Kinda sounds like Forza Motorsport too. I like it simple, just Grid 3 sounds good to me.

The title of this article "Seriously, Where’s my Game?" really bothers me. How are these "your games"? Did they pay for the game already? It seems ridiculous that this author has such a zealous entitlement to these games (many of which either haven't even been announced or are undergoing perfectly normal development schedules like ME4 or Elder Scrolls).

These developers have to pay a lot of money and put a lot of work into these projects. The people hu...

A larger install base doesn't guarantee more money than they would have made than with releasing it on Vita, not to mention the ridiculous resource constraints they would have faced. The Vita is not as powerful as the PS3, and making Polyphony redo their engine again would have tossing years of work on GT5.

I have a PS4 and a Wii U and I love them both. However, I would highly recommend people to really consider the PC for multi-platform games. I've been gaming on PC for my entire life and not once have I had to worry about backwards compatibility. Any game I own I can play it on my new pc, my laptop, my friends pc, whatever. With my PC, I have a system with an undying library of games.

I've been a PC gamer for my entire life and I never once spent over $1000 on my rig. All my rigs have been with me for over five years.

You cited Heavenly Blade as a savior of PS3 but not MGS4 or Gran Turismo?

The PS3 was never against odds. Year after year it sold more than the Xbox 360 did worldwide. Now it has surpassed it despite the Xbox having an entire one year head start and a $100 difference in price. I think a lot of people overlook this due to Xbox's head start and strength in America.

There is a colossal difference between "sold to consumers" and "sold to retailers".

Xbox One has sold 5 million units to retailers.

PS4 has sold 7 million units to consumers.

That means there are even more PS4s on retailer's shelves and there are even less XBOnes in consumer's hands.

Digital Foundry has an exhausting list of comparisons Wii U games that measure frame rate and visuals. In every game, either the visuals were on par with 360, PS3 or it looked slightly better. In almost every case the frame rate was lower.

I don't know where this rumor about Wii U playing games in 1080p 60fps came from but it's not true.

As someone who just bought the DLCs, I would have really appreciated it if they at least announced it so that I wouldn't have wasted over 75 bucks on an inferior experience.

@lilbroRx May I ask where you are getting your information from? The CPU (while newer) still runs at a lower clock speed than the one in the 360 and has been pointed out by many Wii U developers as a critical bottleneck, especially when compared to the massive CPU in the PS3. The Wii U and the PS3's CPU aren't even comparable.

You may be referring to the Wii U's GPU, which is quite a bit updated from the Wii and 360 and blows the PS3's nVidia chip out of the ...

I don't understand how the Wii U is so high up. Who the hell wants to play a racing sim without analog triggers? I enjoy playing shooters on my Wii U Pro Controller and maybe arcade racers would work but the mere thought of playing GT6 or Forza 5 without being able to control my acceleration or brakes is mortifying.

I still don't understand why this is a topic for discussion. I feel the same way about ported/HD remaster/remake games as I do about classic movies remastered on blu-ray, a new model year of a car, or the next iPhone. Why does it matter to me if a game I played is getting ported or remade? It's still my decision on whether or not I think it's worth it. And it always will be.

Spoiler Alert: The insider was talking about Cult County, a first person survival horror game for all previous and current gen platforms. It's hardly an "FPS" and it's not even greenlit, it's on Kickstarter.

I don't know what you're talking about. The browser on my Wii U is completely useless. I always pull out my phone instead.

Almost every single one of the multiplatforms on Wii U are inferior to their PS3/360 counterpart, either in terms of graphics or framerate. I don't remember ever seeing a single game running better on Wii U than the on other platforms, but there might be a few. Check DigitalFoundry and you'll see it's true.

I bought a Wii U for Nintendo games. It's unfortunate that multiplats are so bad on the Wii U, but Nintendo games are enough.

There is a huge difference between the words "best" and "favorite" that the author doesn't seem to understand.

I'm sorry but I don't really get the controversy here. If some guy offered you two billions dollars and said "just keep doing what you were already doing" then would you turn it down? Occulus will still be for games and the only thing that going to change is that they'll make a far superior product with the funding. How can this possibly be a bad thing?

I loved Blackgate to death and I still can't understand how it got such low review scores. Going through the game and collecting everything was so much fun. Somehow they managed to make a 2.5D Arkham game feel like Metroid.
