The fact that Sony is releasing an Early Access game is kinda counter-intuitive with what Early Access is all about. The whole point of Early Access is for small companies to develop a game while being funded by people who believe in the concept. It's because they ABSOLUTELY cannot pay to develop the game any other way that they are forced to take this route.
The fact that Sony is using Early Access to secure funds they do not need for a game that will be free-to-play rea...
Exactly. Anyone who honestly believes they can "take down" Xbox live servers forever doesn't know how the internet works.
Because a true FFVII remake would take as long to develop as FFXIII and FFV. I believe we all know how long those took to come out.
He's David Jaffe. Anyone expecting anything less doesn't know him.
To be honest, I really don't care about the multiplayer problems. The real sin in my eyes is the complete lack of Logitech wheel support. I really hope the PS4 adds support before GT7 comes out.
They literally just announced Resident Evil Revelations 2. Considering how poorly the Vita is selling, I'd say Sony is doing a relatively good job supporting it.
@darthv72 Maybe they could do something crazy like putting a video directly online about their games. They could call it "Nintendo Direct."
Battlefield was never a good fit for a police story. I would have loved a game built from the ground up involving the more focused and personal conflicts of police officers like LA Noire but building it on the foundations of a military shooter just doesn't work.
They can't make a FFVII remake because it would take about as long as it takes to make XIII and XV. Updating FFVII's iso metric camera to a more modern third-person view would fundamentally change the game and every detail would have to be rethought with excruciating detail.
Honestly, I'm more mad that SE decided to do remakes for III, IV, and After Years instead of VI. That was the game that really deserved it.
I honestly doubt Nintendo discontinued it. I'm pretty sure they're just having trouble keeping up with demand. If they did though...god help us all...
You people realize that we already have split screen games outputting two different images right? The problem isn't two images, it's 60 fps. With VR 60 fps is almost mandatory otherwise it'll cause motion sickness from all inconsistency.
Also, I'm pretty sure Adrift isn't VR exclusive. Otherwise it'll sell the opposite of hotcakes.
@mikeslemonade I don't care about grammatical accuracy. The way you dismiss incredible games for utterly inane reasons reminds me of a five year old who won't eat his veggies.
@mikeslemonade I lost brain cells reading your comment. Give them back.
As a day 1 adopter of the Japanese Vita, I love it very, very dearly. That being said, it's not better than a 3ds.
This is not news, it's BS insider crap again. Haven't we learned already that this is completely worthless?
But as long as Gaming Bolt gets hits right?
You literally just described the process of making any game sequel in existence. All franchises face the problem of balancing series traditions with fresh, new changes. Super Smash Bros is not impervious to this predicament. That Nintendo, a master of keeping old titles interesting, is being so weary of this makes no godamn sense.
Regardless of the reason, it's nice to see such a variety of developers attending PS experience.
It's a real shame that Smash isn't up higher. The Wii U has really been killing it lately.
Is Skyrim killing itself slowly? How about Half Life or Dishonored?
Having your character speak isn't "progress", it's killing immersion.
It's not porn, but it most definitely is nudity.
