The author clearly doesn't get the point of the Souls series.
There is a subtlety to the Souls lore that makes it different from most games. Games like Diablo 2 that don't repeatedly hammer in the story via canned voice acting but rely on environments and atmosphere to show depth and detail. Dark Souls doesn't tell you who you are or what to know, you need to go out and discover it yourself.
Graphics aren't that great. Basically the same PS2 to PS3 graphics we've been seeing on phones for a while. I'd probably argue that Infinity Blade looks better.
PS Plus comes with two games per system every month, meaning we don't know the full January PS Plus lineup yet. This comparison is premature.

Are you guys going to armchair judge these reviewers all day? People hound them for days about a new game review. You should read all the whiny comments complaining about when a games reviews are coming out. They're under pressure to deliver and it isn't always easy to determine when to release a review. Hats off to Gamespot for delaying reviews like Halo MCC to test online features.

Microsoft has no reason to care about PC gaming. Steam is the dominant distribution platform which means Microsoft doesn't see a cent out of most PC games. Until Microsoft creates a true Steam competitor like Origin, they aren't making money off the platform.
Obviously I'd love to play Halo, Forza, or Sunset Overdrive on PC, but it certainly wouldn't make fiscal sense for Microsoft.
The Last of Us 2 wouldn't follow Joel and Ellie, which is great because the world is seriously amazing but their story is over.
