This looks like a lot of fun. Hopefully the devs follow through on a console release.
You're not the only one that feels that way. The series is terribly stale these days. It's sad.
Looks like that one's staying wrapped for a long time then. =P
I know. I just don't have it in my possession. I need to go out and buy it. =P
This looks awesome, and at its low price point, it's a must buy for me.
Tennis games are fun, but I still enjoy the quirkiness of Mario Tennis more than anything.
Haven't played a baseball game since Slugfest on the N64. That's my favorite baseball game of all time.
I need this game and I need it now!
This actually looks kind of fun. Now, would I drop the cash for it? Hmmm...
I enjoy racing games but don't really play them much. I still have a copy of Need for Speed Shift for PS3 sealed in plastic. =P
Great list. I would really like to see the likes of Rogue and Ghost Rider in the game.
It's a very decent selection, though I'm not completely sold on Steel Diver just yet. There's another top 5 list featuring the 3DS games that day one buyers should definitely keep an open for, and a couple of the ones you mentioned are on that list.
@firefoxprime: I really hope so. There are so many amazing franchises in Japan that never see the light of day in North America, both on the DS and the Wii.
@firefoxprime: First of all, I would just like to say thanks for calling me a fool. =P Not a blogger, by the way. My official title is freelance games journalist.
But enough about that.
1. In terms of launch titles, yes, Nintendo is trying to let third-party devs shine, but most of these third-party games are pretty bad with the exception of a few gems. Whatever Nintendo's goal may be, there's no denying how weak the launch window actually is.
...
Well, the PS2 has managed to stick around long after the launch of the PS3, so if that's the fate of the DS, then we can expect to see it in stores for years to come.
Going for the NGP instead?
I enjoyed NSMB and NSMBW, although I enjoyed the DS game more. But I will say that Kirby's Epic Yarn is easily one of the best 2D platformers I've played in quite a long time.
They'll always be where you least expect them. Haha Personally, I'm dreading the launch lineup.
If I had an iPad, I'd be all over this deal. I really want to play Puzzle Agent.
My mom used to watch me play GTA III and San Andreas because she had fun watching me do missions and randomly running people over. She actually used to tell me to run people down whenever I'd get in a car in those games. =P
