It's a shame the co-op isn't as, well, cooperative as it should be. Still looks like a good game, though. We'll know for sure when it launches.
This game looks pretty awesome. I enjoyed the last Shift game a lot. Still playing it, actually. I may have to upgrade to this one soon.
Killer indeed. Have you by any chance played some of the developer's other games?
I'll agree to that. *Clicks "agree" button*
One of my favorite indie games of all time, and easily one of the best platformers I've played in recent memory.
Well, that is your opinion, and I respect it, but I don't agree. And, yes, despite this back and forth argument between you and I, I can honestly say I respect your opinion.
It may have improved features, but they really aren't the same game. The controls are vastly different, the difficulty is ridiculously toned down in SvR 11, and the backstage implementation is different as well.
I could do that, but it still won't change how I feel about SvR 11. I simply did not like that game.
Oh, and this top five list does look at gameplay and all that, but it also looks at the impact the games had on the WWE series. SmackDown! 2 had a great impact on the series. SvR 11, not so much.
Hey, squallheart. Never did play Kings, although I've always wanted to import. I loved Fire Pro Wrestling Returns, though. One of my favorite wrestling games of all time, and it easily blows the entire SvR series out the window.
Yeah, SvR 11 is one of the buggiest grapplers I've ever played. It's ridiculous how poorly that game was crafted.
No, I didn't own SmackDown! 2, but I spent enough time at my buddy's house and played it for hours on end each time I went over. So, no, I didn't own it, but I played almost as much as people who did.
On to your remarks about my article. If you didn't notice, I mentioned the improved gameplay, added backstage areas, and improved create-a-wrestler.
I'm making it a five-part series that will eventually be turned into a five-page article. How...
Geez, some people have no patience whatsoever. Just relax, play some All Stars, read some reviews from your favorite sites, and wait for the list to continue. If you want to, of course. I'm not holding a gun to anyone's head here.
Those of you who wait to read more and actually enjoy my work, a huge thanks to you. The rest, well, you're all entitled to your opinion. You don't have to like the way I write or how I space out my articles, but I don't really d...
It seems like the core idea of this game is pretty decent, it just wasn't carried out properly. Another poor cash-in.
Though I had fun with the demo, I don't think I'll be picking the full game up soon. Maybe once it gets a price drop. I have to admit, though, I appreciate the change in direction for the series.
I'm very surprised that this turned out to be one of the best launch games for the 3DS. Though I never thought it would be horrible, I expected it to be a fairly standard racer. Glad to see I was wrong.
This looks like a lot of fun. Too bad I don't have a PSP. I may pick one up now that they're a bit cheaper, and this will likely be my first game or one of my first games.
I'd recommend checking this game out. It's satisfying, charming, and funny. Watching the Swarmites die is a blast.
The visual style is great, and the boss battles were my favorite parts of the game, but overall, there's not much reason to keep on playing for a long time. It's a fun game, but it gets repetitive fast.
I’ve never played any of the Valkyria Chronicles game, though I’ve wanted to for a long time. Hopefully this game makes its way to North America soon.
Now that would be an interesting direction for the series. But it would really need to feel like a Pac-Man game and deliver an experience that's original and certainly not generic.
My two favorites will always be Here Comes the Pain and Day of Reckoning. The fast pace and intuitive controls of those games made them really easy to get into, especially when I played with friends. It's a shame the series has gone downhill like it has. Back then, the teenage to adult demographic was mostly watching wrestling, so THQ made the games for those fans. These days, THQ has admitted to streamlining the games for the younger fans. Obviously, this is due to the young demographic ...
There's certainly a lot of emphasis on comic book video games lately. Hopefully this points to an improvement for these types of games.
