I'm really looking forward to it. From what I've heard the original Japanese version is really good. I'll be preordering mine soon!
What a shame. I actually had high hopes for this. Looks like I'll be playing my copy of Monster Hunter Tri a bit longer.
Knights Contract and Dark Souls look pretty awesome. As for the TNA game, as a wrestling fan, it looks just about as bad as the actual TNA product on TV.
Yeah, in reality, there's validity to both our arguments. The Wii lost some hardcore gamers but gained a ton of casual gamers for every hardcore gamer they lost. Overall, they didn't lose anything. But in terms of the core gamer, they lost a good amount.
It's just a shame that so many gamers hate the console due to its lack of HD visuals.
There are plenty of core gamers who have expressed their dissatisfaction with the Wii. Even Zelda fans have stated that they won't be getting Skyward Sword due to their lack of interest in the console. Yes, the Wii has garnered a massive audience, but a sizeable chunk of core Nintendo fans don't care about the console. It's a shame, because it's actually a very good system, but it's true. By sizeable chunk I meant the core gamers who used to like Nintendo and eventually we...
Just wanted to tell everyone that I appreciate the comments and discussions. For those of you who actually read my article, you'll see that I actually point out that while gameplay is still the most important factor in a game, we're going through a period where graphics are indeed very important. For the spammer that commented above me, your weak comment with foul language and poor grammar (did you go to school there, sonny?) has been reported. If today's graphics were equal in qu...
Great list here. I agree with most of these, especially God of War, Heavy Rain, The Last Guardian, and Ratchet & Clank.
The Red Ring and online fee are two of the factors that have kept me from buying a 360 all these years. I have to admit, though, I've been tempted to get it over the past few months.
I would have expected more from this game. Oh well. It still looks decent, but I don't know if I would spend money on it.
Even if I had an iPhone or iPad, the definitive version of Pac-Man for me is Championship Edition DX.
Give me Root Beer Tapper! =P
There are a bunch of gems worthy of any gamer's time. Some games that I didn't have high expectations for left me wanting more after I played them.
Twilight Princess may have been a port, but it was a Zelda game nonetheless, so the dev team was focused on that project and that project solely. Since then, the team has been trying to figure out ways to make the first true Wii Zelda different from past games. They obviously want it to feel like a unqiue title that's exclusive to the Wii. That doesn't happen overnight, especially when they have to meet the standards set by Ocarina of freaking Time.
Oh, and for the re...
Yeah, I read about the devs changing up the flow of the game. I can only imagine what it's going to be like. Maybe some outdoor areas aside from fields and towns that need to be cleared to progress? It's really exciting to think about. =P
Yeah, in theory I believe it is the first chapter in the series. I seriously cannot wait to see how the game's story unfolds!
@eagle21: I agree with you to a point, but I've also seen a bunch of gamers who have pretty much gone on to say that their interest in the game is dwindling as a result of Nintendo's delay.
At that point you have to really question those gamers' fandom. But even die-hard Zelda fans tend to get a bit aggressive in terms of these delays.
Personally, I think Nintendo should take as long as they need.
I would take All 4 One over PlayStation Move Heroes due to the fact that the gameplay looks far more solid on that game. Additionally, I don't have a Move controller, and I don't think Heroes would be enough to entice me to buy it.
I generally enjoy the Mario sports series. Although I'm not a big fan of the motion-based games. Maybe I'll pick this up, maybe I won't.
Though they both have their strong points for their respective genres (car combat and racing), I'll stick with Twisted Metal. Although if I get a hankering for some action-packed racing, I'll probably pick Motorstorm up as well.
I've been watching wrestling and playing wrestling games for a long time. This is going to be a disaster. I predict that the only people who will buy this terrible game are the ones who refuse to accept that TNA is utter garbage.
