Yes, ahead of its time. It seamlessly combined genres successfully, something a lot of more modern games can't pull off. And the story was completely riveting. Again, something many of today's games can't provide.
Wasn't comparing the graphics to Uncharted. I just mentioned how the graphics in that series have pretty much set the bar for the current console generation, thus raising gamers' standards considerably since the last gen, where games may not have looked as good but still offered a great sense of artistry. Just thought I'd clarify that.
It's not a comparison between the two games, but rather a comparison of generations, which is necessary for this analysis give...
I really thought Capcom vs. Nintendo would get the most negative reaction. Glad to see I was wrong. =P I would really like to see Nintendo characters mix it up with Street Fighter brawlers and other Capcom names.
Thanks. Yeah, I wrote this editorial. Glad you enjoyed it. I'd recommend Killer7 over a number of recent games.
I'm impressed at how well the developers were able to blend all those gameplay elements.
You can buiy the GameCube version for like $6. It's an awesome game and it still holds up incredibly well today. Do yourself a favor and play this bizarre title.
A lot of people didn't "get" that game, but it was an excellent title. Way ahead of its time. Played it recently and it feels a lot more rewarding and a lot more innovative than most of today's titles.
That's really awesome. Seeing all those little Meat Boys running around and dying is pretty too cool.
Another great quality. I'll agree with that! It was hard finding just five features to fit into this list.
Absolutely loved both Flash games. I’ll be downloading this and playing the heck out of it tonight.
Got word from a site admin that the Wii section is undergoing some changes. Looks like I'll be deleting this submission for now. I'll have it back up when the Wii channel is up and running fully.
My apologies for the inconvenience.
I hear you. I can't count the number of times I played through Survival mode and Championship mode. Those were some good times.
Still not a bad number when you consider that it's #4 out of every other WWE-licensed game ever created. =P
Kind of a shame that baseball fans without a PS3 will miss out on one of the best baseball games to come along in years. The Show is just leagues ahead of MLB 2K11.
It's insane how mind-blowing and awesome this game really is.
I was going to wait on an improved 3DS model, but I may have to pick it up just so I can get my hands on this game on launch day. In the end, I'm still the same OoT dork I was when I first played the game in the sixth grade.
I think I'll be sticking to Need for Speed.
Actually, recent reports that this was Sakaguchi's last name just turned out to be mis-translated messages from Sakaguchi himself. It doesn't look like this will be his last game after all.
Nintendo registered The Last Story domain name, but the game's localization isn't official yet. I'm hoping for a big reveal at E3 this year.
Just out of curiosity, if Nintendo were to make a new series or a couple of new series, what genre would you like the company to delve into more?
