If this was about children who own 360's, trying to get their parents to buy this game for them, they would probably skip the temper tantrums and go straight for the stabby stabby. We all know how temperate and angry 360 gamers can get...
I kid, I kid!!! ;-)
Every other region outside of the US (UK / Europe, AUS / NZ, etc): 2 or 3:1 in favor of the PS3
Inside the US: 1.5 or 2:1 in favor of the 360.
I have a feeling the PS3 version will hold its own against the might of the 360's attach rate, however I think that because the 360 is strongest in the US it will be slightly outsold here in the US.
I hate sales articles with a passion, but this is one game where I will be interested to see which version, after b...
106 disagrees
welcome to News4disaGreers
It must be a slow news day on N4G...
edit: nvm
I'm sorry, but that was horribly misinformed. The new IPOD classics are HDD based (1.8" disk drives), and the IPhone and IPod touch are the models that use extensive flash-based memory. Currenly (excluding solid-state drives), most flash-based DAP's have hit a maximum of 32gb with Creative being the first to market with a 32gb flash-based player (the ZEN).
Do your homework next time.
Since I don't have LIVE right now, a 360 version won't matter to me anyway. I'll be buying this for the PS3, along with a new DS3 to go with it. I'll be buying it on Amazon though, since I can find the DS3 for cheaper than store price.
Besides, like people above me have stated, i'm so used to playing GTA on the Playstation brand; it's mostly just continuing the tradition.
They'll just change forms. Instead, we'll see N4G flooded with all sorts of irrelevant articles on which version is selling more.
It will be interesting to see if any of these tactics work in Sony's favor.
You're going to have to try harder this time to make me laugh.
Except that if that were to happen, Microsoft would charge more for the HDD than they would for the console, and you would only be able to use that HDD on the system...
Obviously an exaggeration, but then again not far off from the truth
You are either:
a) Being extremely sarcastic
b) Trying to achieve a LOT of disagrees
c) posting an actual serious statement, which is ridiculous
which is it?
edit: Also, if better graphics take up more space, then wouldn't every single PS3 game look better than their XBOX 360 counterparts due to the "advantage" of blu-ray? Your comment makes absolutely no sense in the way that you stated it, but then again it is probab...
I didn't know that!
That's why I got the SXRD over the DLP. I did my research and didn't fall for the DLP hype when I knew there was something better out there. It's just a shame that stupid-ass Sony, out of all their "wonderful" business decisions, decided to discontinue production on them in favor of LCD technology.
Never gonna let you down
Save it for the open zone, buddy
And that is the ability to use custom soundtracks in the 360 version. If we have people using their own music and overriding the stellar soundtrack in GTA IV, wouldn't that be a negative if you were in Lazlow's position?
Either way, it's worth it to have the 360 version for DLC, but it's not a deal breaker if you're already set on getting another version of the game. Well, at least to me, because the only GTA game I got 100% in was GTA: III. I beat Vice City but I never found e...
You are rather delusional, aren't you? Guess that's why you deserve to be relegated to the Open Zone. ;-)
Before upgrading to XP I switched over to Server 2000, stepping up from '98 and it was seemingly a more reliable service. What was even better was that my friend had a copy of it that did not need a serial key, and I was still able to register through the Microsoft Certification process without a hitch.
I'm curious to try out Server 2008 now...
Those screens look so crisp and sharp, I can't wait for this game to come out!!!!
edit: this is one of those games that deserves the custom soundtrack treatment. I can't wait to bump all my early to mid-nineties Moving Shadow drum and bass along with all the deep electronica tracks that I have amassed to the amazing 60fps blistering race action. w00t!
