It still looks fun. I might rent this and see how it plays, and if I like it, I might pick it up. It certainly has to be better than that trash that was MX vs. ATV 2...
The city as a whole seems a lot less interesting. I mean sure, I can drive around and kill tons of random people, and steal vehicles, going on a murderous hit and run killing spree, but what really pulled me into the previous games were the little side-activities you could pick up. It's why I still play GTA III and Vice City (and to a lesser extent, San Andreas) to this very day. Without these additions, GTA IV, while exponentially larger than the previous iterations, seems dull in comparison...
That game received critical acclaim by many people and would be a perfect addition to the Playstation Classics section of the store. I bet it would see record downloads!
"Eurogamer: Why haven't you chosen to do a follow-up to Unreal 2 to date?
Mark Rein: I think we've been really happy with the multiplayer-oriented Unreal Tournament. Despite what people feel, people get this crazy idea that if you don't sell five million units it isn't a success, but we heard today that we've shipped over 1.2 million units of UT3, not even including the Xbox 360 yet. We make good money on Unreal Tournament, and it's a good game that we love to make, and it's...

Please do us all a favor and off yourself!
This isn't the fault of the PSN so much as it's the fault of Gamespy's buggy network. If I were to have problems in GTA IV online, it wouldn't be the first game to be affected by Gamespy's bugginess.
I've been holding off on seeing that movie at home until it comes out on Blu-Ray. Also, it's good to see that Cloverfield finally has a Blu-Ray release as the fate of an HD version was (up until this point) up in the air.
I could have sworn I read more than one article that stated the PS3 version looked slightly less jagged, especially according to EGM and IGN. What's the real deal here?
I know for a fact that the PS3 version features better lighting and colors. However, in the end it's really a draw between the two versions. The only reason i'm getting the PS3 version is because of the controller. Otherwise I would have it on 360 for the DLC. Maybe when the DLC is explained, I will buy it used fo...
People are spending more time comparing this game than playing it! I hate this generation of fanboyism and petty videogame nitpicking...
Feel better after wasting all that time posting SPAM?
Nice to see someone disagreeing with a valid statement. This site rules!
:/
Is it really that necessary to have a tacked-on MP mode? Because that's what we get in the majority of games out right now. There are few next-gen titles that actually do multiplayer the way it should be done.
The beta runs at 2xAA so there are barely any jaggies, despite the lower resolution. Halo 3 ran at 640p, but it had no antialiasing, making it one of the jaggiest XBOX 360 games released at the time (and probably still is).
Then again, I wouldn't have expected any one of the fanboys in here to have read the article...
"Why this resolution? Rendering at this resolution can aid in post-processing effects, help with tiling through the RSX graphics chip, and also h...
It's just so funny how the 360 fanboys call the PS3 gamers hypocrites, yet when the biggest, most hyped game of the year comes out and is said to have been given the visual edge on a console that WASN'T EVEN THE LEAD PLATFORM, things spin so fast it makes hurricane Katrina look like a gentle breeze! All the FUD, the smear campaigns, the general mudslinging in the direction of the PS3, all over this one game; how 360 owners and biased websites alike since the first media was released on it sta...

R-Types is going on my console! Now if they would only release Delta, we would have a winner...

It's just not a Mortal Kombat game without the over-the-top violence...
Then again, fanboys know nothing of this subject. More along the lines of pure jealousy when it comes to MGS 4. I'm a HUGE MGS fan and I can see why people would want this game on their console. I'm just glad I own both consoles so I can enjoy both heavy hitters this year (MGS 4 on PS3 and Gears of War 2 on 360).
