What's so different about posting gameplay footage from GTA IV as opposed to any other game? Just because the devs are waiting till the last possible minute for whatever ridiculous hype reason? Aren't we going to see a bunch of stuff this coming sunday?

Though you are right about people needing to stop spoiling things for others, I think the fact that the 360 version was leaked to the internet is far more damaging than the first 7 minutes of the game viewed from a crappy angle.

1UP already previewed the game and said that there were sporadic framerate drops, and that was the 360 version! For a game like this to run completely smooth is nearly impossible; there are going to be a few hiccups.
Fanboys... jeez!
This just proves their inadequacy to spread their resources among anything other than
a) single platform development
b) publishing games

edit: yes, thank you for the clarification chasuk08. It's just really unfortunate that 360 gaming shares so many parallels with PC gaming, though to be fair if the countermeasures werent as strong as say, the PS3, this could happen to any system. Hell, we could have another Dreamcast situation on our hands, with games requiring no modchip to play...

The gametrailers fanboys are going to have a field day over the fact that this is being played on the PS3 and not the 360...
It seems that SEGA has been treating Japanese gamers lately with good games. First Yakuza III and now Valkyria Chronicles. Hopefully these two games come to the states sometime down the road.
All these years and i'm still amazed at how quickly things spread on the internet!
