Imagine how sore you would be from playing with that for even a couple hours...
Though it's kind of odd to see splitscreen UT, but as Ghoul was saying above, usually this game requires the whole screen due to certain gameplay elements that it features. Still nice to play with a friend who isn't online, for those without LIVE (like me).
My friend's 55" Samsung DLP looks worse than my 50" Sony SXRD A3000, but that's because I know how to properly calibrate a set.
Haha, it's funny to see SNAAAAAAAAAAAKE!!!! running around, discarding stealth for full-on deathmatch action.
I wonder if when mods are enabled for the 360 version that we will have access to all these extra characters?
I played C&C 3 on the 360 and despite the method of controls' awkwardness compared to playing this game with a KB+M, it still was a decent title. It'd be nice to have this expansion as well, to further expand the original title's story.
I don't remember, though I thought I heard something like that. Sony designs most of the tech, but Samsung manufactures the actual panels.
Someone correct me if i'm wrong here.
edit: also, if they want to capture the lion's share of the market, they need to bring their prices down a bit. I know that Sony has quality sets with amazing picture quality, but they are always at least 500-1000 more than a comparable-sized set from a rival company.
Sony releases updates that don't do anything either, so this is nothing new in the console world. Just as long as updates keep the systems (respectively) stable, that's all the matters.
That really was a freak accident, though i'm sure if someone wanted to they could replicate that again. It was simply a case of wrong place wrong time.
Focking hilarious, still!
I e-mailed Digi-Guys a few months back asking what was up with the lack of released info on the game, and they said that they are keeping it under tight wraps until the progress level they wanted to achieve was met. This upcoming trailer must be the target result they wanted to achieve at this stage in development. I can't wait to see what they come up with.
Oh, and for all the doubters, yes this engine will be running, IN-GAME at full 1080p. We'll see soon enough if the gamepl...
I love the ignorance of the Open Zone. It's nice to see people insulting each other over a piece of software. What I also find funny is how many people on this site complain that Sony fans are always the ones insulting and spamming against other users here. It's the same in every section of this damn website - everyone insulting everyone else. It's not limited to a certain demographic, regardless of what people think.
Fanboys need a life.
In other news, I will be...
But because it's hard to see Sony dropping the price of the PS3 that low so quickly (even if we are talking about this year's holiday season). I predict at the very most, the base PS3 model will drop to 349.99, and judging on how well the 80gb bundle sells, Sony may plan to keep it around, but they will drop the 80gb to maybe 429.99 or 399.99.
I think Sony will drop their prices, although I think they might wait till the Blu-Ray market picks up in steam and prices go down there first. I am not so sure that they want to undercut the other BR player manufacturers just yet in such a drastic fashion.
What do you think, Meus?
I will agree that the attach rate will go up substantially though. I have a feeling that when more big-name titles are released this year, they will be less "slow-burning" in terms of sales when compared to games released around a year ago.
He never adds anything constructive to the conversation. Sad, really...
I'm not validating DLC at all, but it's good when both sides get extra gameplay out of a title
They usually start out a little lackluster, but after the first oh, year and a half or so, pick up steam and become basically unstoppable.
I think people just like to forget the past in hopes that their fanboyish opinions will see the light of day as truth.
If there is to be one, they better hurry up quick. Only 2 weeks left to go...
lol @ the disagree. Apparently, someone knows about a mysterious 360 GTA IV bundle that we don't.
Once Sony implements cross-game messaging and chat, we will have a true winner on our hands.
Overall though, I want to see more games being sold. Sony needs to get the attach rate of games per console sold up a little bit, even though as it sits with the current number of consoles sold it isn't as bad as fanboys would have you believe.
COMPATABILITY. They need to fix the compatability and driver support for older programs, as it's still lacking.
Once you turn off those stupid "R U SURE U WANT 2 DO THIS?!?!" security dialog boxes in Vista, it's not too bad.
