It's better to not expect it and if anything happens then you can get more excited. I for one am not holding my breath. I just expect a new store and that's about it.
Don't bother wasting your words. The people who have played Uncharted and recognize it for the awesome experience that it is know what's up. Trying to convince a 360 fanboy that Uncharted is one of the best games released last year is like telling an IPod fanboy that Creative makes better MP3 players. It just won't work.
ah forget it. I might as well count this bubble wasted replying to you
I just think 360 owners attack the blu-ray aspect of the games, more than the games themselves. If the high-profile first-party Sony exclusives were on DVD-9, there would be less animosity toward them. But since these games are "short", Blu-Ray is to blame. Ultimately, short is a rather subjective term considering most fanboys do more b1tching than playing; I know Jason 360 has never played these games, and if he has he most certainly hasn't beaten them. What one person's 7 hour run...
That was a funny comment. Although, to the 360's defense in this situation, I played DMC 4 for 7 hours straight the other night and I was lucky enough to not receive an overheat issue. Though, I know I am in the lucky demographic here...
Stay off the freakin' internet, especially off of fanboy-ridden sites such as this one.
Infact, to get a better enjoyment out of videogaming, this advice can also be taken in the same way.
Wrong. Gears of War was a GOTY contender back in a year when there were no other GOTY contenders available. There are way too many high-profile games coming out this year to narrow it down to a Gears of War sequel winning Game of the Year award (that is, unless you are 1Up or some other irrelevant publication)
Why are two of the biggest games on 360 so short (Gears of War and Halo 3)? And can you explain the horrible texture streaming and environment loading issues that Mass Effect had? However, at least the first two listed titles have good multiplayer to offset the average campaign. And Mass Effect is just a generally stellar title anyway, so most people overlook the technical flaws.
I think the problem here is Hype. Hype can damage almost anything, and it's unfortunate that many PS...
At least MS repairs consoles for free...
People who are quick to cry foul at the "exclusivity" of this game are forgetting that this would be a China-only release on PC, because of the much, much larger PC market over there.
I don't foresee this happening though, due to the widespread piracy in China's technology market.
A little thing that XBOX owners call the saving grace of DVD9: Compression.
Sucks for the owners of the core package who want to play the DLC. I'm just glad I wasn't fooled by the low price and opted for the 360 Premium...
Though it doesn't matter to me since I don't have LIVE and will be buying GTA IV for my PS3 to compliment my PS2 version of the GTA box set.
They make some rather stupid decisions when it comes to world business policy in their gaming division. They need to make a unified approach to Europe and stop d1cking around with delays, lack of content and announcements that take forever to see the light of day.
But won't you have to wait till 2009 to see the first installment?
edit: I did not disagree with you, Predator. Thank you for your civil response.
But I will certainly be buying this when it becomes widely available here in the US
I know what you mean by the price tag issue. It certainly becomes harder and harder to justify spending 60 dollars on games nowadays, especially after becoming so comfortable by the 49.99 price tag of previous-gen games. It's just nice to know that I will have no problem buying this game on day one, something I NEVER do.
Despite the fact that this entire review came from an XBOX 360 magazine. Yes, people are very childish on this website.
edit: nice disagrees, people. Thanks for proving my point! :-)
It is impossible for any game (or movie, etc) to be perfect. If perfection was achieved, there would be nobody with anything to complain about, anywhere. And you know (just like any game), there is always something that someone dislikes about a particular title. That's just how things work.
While this game will not be perfect, it will certainly be the closest that many gamers are going to see for at least a few months if not a little longer.
I'll be picking up a new DS3 to play this with. Only a couple weeks left to go!
Yeah! One of my favorite things to do in GTA 3 in terms of gaining an atmospheric feel would be to walk around at night through the different neighborhoods. One can only imagine what it will be like in GTA IV, especially given the new technology's ability to display more cars and people on screen at once.
