i never played this game, and have no idea what i'm talking about; but this exclusive deserved way better than a 90%!!!! i already am confident that it's the greatest game of all time and that we should all boycott this website now because they gave it such a crappy score! omg, i'm so pissed at these guys. i'm going to write a letter and tell them that i might kill myself now because they didn't give a game i've never played but already blindly support a perfect 5/5...
you haven't even played the game. reach doesn't reward you with anything but cosmetic changes for playing. you get no advantages for playing for months on end vs starting up.
reach is awesome. they changed the dynamic just enough to keep it halo but make it interesting again. i loved halo 3, but needed a changed...this is just right.
and also...this is the BETA!!! it's not retail...

i been playin the halo reach beta non stop the last 5 days and i can verify that it's much more solid and the new armor abilities really change the game dynamic.

i loved splinter cell conviction. it's the best game i've purchased on console since 2008. and i've purchased a LOT of games since then on both ps3 and 360.
since both games are getting roughly the same scores, i think alan wake is a safe bet. i could be wrong, but i've spent 60 dollars on a LOT of games that got much better reviews that turned out to be pure crap. so i think i could (and have) do worse.
you didn't just use the word perk. you said they are trying to capitalize on what mw2 did. that simply isn't true. halo 3 was different because of the special abilities you could run around and pick up. this one is different because they removed that and gave you a choice before spawn. it's in no way like cod, and to say that the best selling exclusive of this generation is copying someone else because they are both shooters is just silly.
