you know man...i'm not sure where you get these ideas. but the games i play on pc usually require some sort of monthly investment to have most (not all) of the features available on xbox live.
as an example...voice chat. if i want to chat with a lot of people at once i have 2 choices really. either do it in game, or rent a server that hosts ventrilo. the fees on that usually range from 7-12 dollars a month depending on how many ppl i'd like to be able to host. xbox live, on ...

I agree sorta. the story is sound, but the way it's told is very blatent. there's no subtlety. it doesn't bring you into the elements, it just hands them to you. which is what most games and movies and tv shows do these days.

i know what you mean. i've certainly noticed that in other games (it was real obvious in advanced warfighter). but in halo...i've never seen a difference in quality from sp to mp.
