Definitely agree that we need the competition. I think, if MS wants to stay in it for another generation, a very smart move would be to partner with Sega (not that i'm saying MS didn't do very well this generation). among other advantages, that would give them a huge IN with the asian market.
on the other hand, i'd be okay with pc-gaming taking over again. or at least taking a big chunk of the market back.
they have to be quiet about a new COD this early in the year because they still have to peddle a bunch of over-priced map packs.

that looks fine to you? i play MMORPGs, and i almost fell asleep watching this. this is like 10 years in the wrong direction. the environments and graphics aren't terrible, but the game play is some of the worst i've ever seen.

as far as i know E3 hasn't happened yet, which means they've shown nothing so far. anything is more than 0. so i guess you aren't wrong, it was just a pointless statement.
personally, i'd just like to see some great games. i couldn't care less about the move...but i have a bad feeling that will be the main focus of their presentation. i hope i'm wrong.
along with the move, they are also going to showcase a balance board and a piece of plastic shaped like a gun that the wiimote...err...move can fit into.
you aren't breakin any headlines there, man. but everyone already knows it's been in development from the other 30 reviews that have said it, plus all the hype that has been generating for years. and i'm not against making a point to mention the long development, just do it in some original way. not with the same 2 interchangeable sentences in EVERY review we see.
it makes for boring reading, that's the point.

i'm really looking forward to this game, and i think it probably deserves a decent score. but perfect? come on now. i haven't played a game in years that i think deserves even a 9/10 let alone a 10 out of 10.
my OPINION (just in case any fanboys will be reading this (which they will)) is that the 2 best games of all time are starcraft and half life 2...and even they don't deserve a PERFECT score. the whole review system is flawed (again - in my opinion) and ...

however, you seem to not really get the analogy. you see, i know there are people who like fat chiz...but why on earth would you pay for one? there are plenty of other fat chiz that you could have. this is much like nin...
you might think there's plenty of juice left...but you aren't a developer. look at it from their perspective. are making a game so demanding that there is a clear divide between the PC version and the console version. and rather than have to invest a ton of money and time and manpower into recoding their work, they'd much rather have something that allows for a simpler port.
i still enjoy my consoles...but i'd be okay with a new gen sooner than later.
