So excited for this XIII had great gameplay, voice acting and story. I remember being skeptical becauase of the cel shading but it was a fantastic game. And the multiplayer had bots!
Haha only a Nintendo console could get a pass for subpar multiplatform releases. "Looks good enough" would never be tolerated on an xbox or playstation multiplatform release. Just because its portable doesn't justify it, the switch is not the PS vita it's still considered a home console.
Articles like this show how antiquated the switch technology really is; 20 gigabite file sizes are a problem in 2019. Between the downgraded ports, memory card requirement and a disgraceful online service I'm surprised the switch is doing well at all
The only two great games it has are launch titles. It'll be another 5 years before we get another quality game that isn't a port, an indie or a side scroller.
This is such a joke, another desperate attempt to try and justify why these dime a dozen souls games can't have an easy mode. I play most games on hard and the existence of an easy mode has zero effect on me whatsoever. They should add an easy mode for the people who want it.
So much time wasted on those never ending cutscenes with barely relevant side characters that no one cares about. It's not 2001 anymore; poorly written nonsensical stories from bad Japanese writers shouldn't be tolerated anymore.
So there should be an entire genre of games that are inacessible and not fun for a huge portion of gamers and the only reason they shouldn't add an easy mode for the people who want it is because gamers who like patting themselves on the back and acting elitist want to write articles like this.
The story in KH3 was convoluted trash with way too many random, forgettable anime characters with stupid names. Everytime you beat a level there were poorly written cutscenes featuring these randoms with pink hair and their scenes barely connected to anything going on with Sora. I skipped every cutscene with those characters and missed NOTHING.
From the studio that created evolve. Next.
Can't wait for this, hopefully they do Blood 2 next! This series is extremely underrated and compatibility has always been a problem for both games since their inital release.
Please no more bloodborne or dark souls style simplistic combat trash with damage numbers. I'd rather have fluid and responsive controls. Hack and slash combat is a million times better than the awful and dated combat in bloodborne. If this game isn't like that then it's a major selling point, not a flaw. Look at all these bandwagon battle royale, looter shooter or "souls like" games that just shamelessly copy, isnt it better to do something different?
The story in Far Cry 5 was a joke, the entire game was just different characters capturing you and forcing you to listen to long, poorly written monologues. Only the Father was interesting, the other random characters in his cult were awful. In Far Cry 4 Pagan Minh was over the top and so was Vaas in 3. The writers at ubisoft just aren't that good. For Honor, Wildlands, Division etc. all have worthless stories too.
The more big release games that don't come to steam the better. They've been making money just selling other people's games for so long that they forgot how to make games themselves. Time for their monopoly to end, especially if it puts more money in developers pockets.
Completely lost faith in this team after Evolve, that game was GARBAGE. Hopefully this isn't more of the same. They could've done anything after left 4 dead and they made that, who knows how many people from the original left 4 dead teams are even left. Now they're going to do another zombie game when zombies are currently the most overused trend in gaming. Great.
That greedy joke gabe newell should have let them make left 4 dead 3 years ago when there was stil...
It's one thing to trash unecessary programs like Uplay but Steam has been a joke for years. Why defend it? That greedy gabe newell wont even make games anymore because valve was making so much money off of Steam, its time for a competitor to take them down. Does anyone really expect developers/publishers to make LESS money selling games on steam now that there is a real alternative?
They'll do anything to distract from the copy and paste formula that all ubisoft games have followed lately: throwaway story, repetitive missions in bland locations and bullet spongey enemies. Division and Wildlands were indistinguishable from each other.
Making the new characters in MK X the kids of classic characters was one of the worst, most uninspired choices in the entire Mortal Kombat series. Not sure why any of them are coming back.
They spent too much time and money on the awful TV sections. Why didnt they put that money into more gameplay or a multiplayer mode? The writing and directing on the TV stuff was terrible and the game had to be delayed so much for those segments that by the time it came out a lot of people had lost interest. The graphics and shooting are good but the story is bad. Remedy should have done alan wake 2 instead.
Everything takes from other things but to copy a forumla completely with zero innovation is not acceptable. The first time dark souls came out it wasn't copying something else and instead of trying to do anything original other developers just made clones. Look at what's happening with the battle royal clones, looter shooter clones and now this. Gaming went mainstream way too fast and now original, unique games are gone (low budget 2D indies don't count) Its AAA mass appeal forum...
"Lesser known Disney animated films" and they were all hugely popular blockbusters that made millions.
This series it doesnt even matter which licenses they use since the writer is garbage. Its not 2001 anymore why is awful nonsensical dialogue from japanese developers acceptable? Every cutscene was overly long and the dialogue was throwaway trash. All the random anime looking characters with stupid names like xigbar it was just filth. By the end i was skipping al...
This game seemed flawed from the beginning but I find it funny how many reviews mention "padding" but NO ONE mentioned the same issue in any Red Dead 2 reviews....
