It is absolutely insane that Nintendo fans make excuses for such an awful online system that isn't even free. Just wait until neonrider and the crew of tweens who only own a switch attempt to defend them as usual. Such a joke. $70 standard controllers, worst online in the industry and $60 wii u ports. Also 90% of the 3rd party games released are sloppy ports or throwaway indie titles. Switch 4 eva!
Interesting article with some good points. Unfortunately it is usually just a marketing ploy when the majority of the talent/creative force of a studio are long gone but gamers are led to believe it is the same original crew
P.S. Criterion should have made Black 2 years ago when it was stil the same team
Who is this guy? Yeah ditch everything recognizable from one of the most unique and memorable survival horror series of all time and reboot it
Great idea dude!
This game is poorly designed with boring gameplay and an awful inventory system. The graphics sre also subpar. It took them years just to get out of early access and it is still a mess. Don't understand the appral of this one.
This game really needs a sequel. The levels, enemies and dark tone of the story were amazing. The animated cutscenes and a few of the puzzles were the only drawbacks.
Kratos was such a simplistic and one dimensional character at that point, just yelling all the time. The Dante's Inferno story was much more memorable than anything the earlier God of War games offered.
I'm sorry but the story and writing in Kingdom Hearts 3 are garabge. Literally nonsense. Random, generic looking anime characters with stupid names and awful, awful dialogue that goes on way too long. The cutscenes were almost never ending. It's ridiculous that there was zero creative oversight and a terrible writer/director got to do whatever he wanted. Kind of like Batman vs Superman and Last Jedi
Couldnt agree more, it has been way too long since they made a Quake campaign. I would even be more than happy with a remaster of 1 or 2.
I'm so excited for this game too! I'm glad they're even making it. Maybe they will still do HD remasters of the first two also. Such a great series with unique gameplay.
Shadows of the Damned is anoter underrated gem that really deserves a good sequel.
Generic corporate statement "everything is fine". Id rather hear it from Houser himself at least
Rockstar has been becoming more and more corporate and greedy with GTA online, extorting players with micro transactions, refusing to release single player dlc despite demand, and releasing one game every 5 or 6 years/eliminating any side projects like Bully, Manhunt, Midnight Club, etc. With Houser leaving things will most likey get worse. The GTA V story was a serious dip in writing and quality besides some of the stuff with Michael but at least the harsh jokes from other GTAs were there.
"Its healthy", says the expert on n4g.
He's not just "leadership" this was one of the main creative forces at Rockstar since the PS2 era. Rockstar has already been getting disgustingly greedy and corporate with shark cards and gta online and now they just make one game every five years. With this guy leaving I would be surprised if things don't get worse. GTA will always sell though, maybe he had some influence on VI before he left since they...
The last two games were set in modern times, how is it a terrible idea? A miami reskin of GTA V with awful rap music and more hood storylines sounds much worse. Clearly you've never played Vice City and or/have no appreciation for 80's music, cars and neon. You act as if the gameplay would be any different if it were set in the 80's instead of today.
That's garbage, so going back to san andreas in even less time was okay?
80's era would be incredible with next-gen, post red dead 2 graphics and if the story is a direct sequel to Vice City this could be the best GTA since 3 and Vice came out on PS2.
Look how Nintendo fans make nonsense excuses to try and defend literally ANY flaw or criticism of the system. Nintendo is lazy and antequated, extorting gamers with overpriced games (simplistic trash like snipper clips was $60) and peripherals, creating a joke of an online system that requires a cell phone, not adding achievments or cloud based saves...the list goes on and on. But neonrider and all these tweens on here always make excuses for anything Nintendo does and they will continue supp...
Alan Wake was solid but also should have been rated M and could've ditched the terrible possessed items attacking you sequences.
So excited for this, never expected them to remaster it. Kingpin is a classic!
Apologists like awdevoftw who accept and make excuses for anything a corporation does are the reason dlc is the way it is today. These are the types of people who used to justify $50 season passes for CoD and Battlefront "because you get extra levelz and development iz expensive!". Allowing garbage like that is why we have loot boxes and $800 in dead or alive 5 costmetic dlc
The News HQ boss in the DMC remake was definitely one of the most memorable.
The gameplay was surprisingly fun and there are some interesting game modes but almost all of the character designs are atrocious, cliche trash and the levels seemed bland. The woman with pink hair on the unicycle might be one of the worst character designs of all time.
I would like to see what ninja theory is going to do after hellblade 2, maybe Enslaved Odyssey to the West 2?
