It's definitely average and the character designs are awful but the joke is that if it were a ps4 exlcusive instead of xbox it would be much more well received on n4g and people would be defending it rabidly.
They really should have just kept the classic deathmatch instead.
He's always seemed a little scummy and the way he just completely abandoned developing games when steam became successful is a joke.
The new doom games are fun but they are arcadey, cartoony and not scary at all. The enemies are colorful and not intimidating and they did nothing memorable with the lighting or the enviornments. The platforming in Eternal is completely unnecessary. Lastly the story in both of the new doom games is garbage, following orders from a random robot.

There's a reason you're in the minority. DmC was not a true Devil May cry game just a solid action game with great graphics and a terrible story. Also Dante's design was a joke and the way they disrespected the fans has not been forgotten.

Some of the worst character designs of all time. Sorry to say but if women are trying to be taken seriously in the industry as game directors this is not the way to do it. Same thing in the film industry with Birds of Prey. Make better content
Kind of a bad name for a horror title
Mafia 2 is one of the greatest singe player games ever made, mafia 3 is a repetitive letdown that threw away everything interesting from Mafia 2 just to make a generic revenge story. The world, graphics and music were well done but the gameplay was boring and repetitive and the story was average at best. Some rap is super entertaining and great to get inebriated to but let's be honest, it is not really music. There aren't even instruments involved and the actual rapping has gotten so much worse with migos etc. just making sounds (skkrt skkrrt). EDM isn't real music either, just rich kids with laptops stringing sounds together. Regardless of opinions rap has no place in a doom trailer though.
The first Fable had a good morality system, you could literally sacrifice people at the temple of skorm, citizens would fear you in villages and you looked menacing.
Exactly, there are only two remastered games on the Xbox one compared to all of the ones Sony made. Gears of War 1 was from 2006 and wasn't remastered until 2016. And the Halo collection had five games and some of those games were from 2001-2005.
Everything Sony re-released came from PS3 which was much more recent and arguably much less necessary to remaster anything from, especially when they were charging full price.
That would've been better than re-releasing God of War 3 which was much newer and barely looked enhanced on PS4.
Sony will probably NOT do this, they were the absolute worst this generation with countless remasters and re-releases.
God of War 3, Last of Us, Beyond, Heavy Rain, Uncharted, Wipeout, etc. They remastered almost EVERY successful PS3 exclusive and charged full price, no new content just upscaled and re-released.
It will be hard for them to not support this since Micrsoft has already agreed but you can bet that Sony will NOT do this for any of their upcoming release...
sprinterboy The classic outfit has not been done with the new Lara in next gen graphics though, it is only the anniversary dlc which makes her look like an upscaled version of the PS1 Lara
This game has a lot of potential, better they delay it again then release it next month as another article on here suggested. They definitely need to start advertising it more closer to release. Looking forward to this one.
Can't believe they brought back online multiplayer! If only they would do that with more classics.
