Rehashing the same titles with the same gameplay (Super Smash Brothers 12, Donkey Kong 10, Mario 27 etc.) and barely improved, last gen graphics does not mean you have the "best exclusives". That's why the Wii U as a console is failing and it only appeals do a limited audience, diehard Nintendo fans. Wii U owners are delusional if they really think that the exclusives or the system are better than the other consoles and exclusive games...

That's clearly not the main story so its irrelevant. The majority of this series, meaning the book and hbo show are nothing like the silly cartoony graphics in the walking dead games. At this point it just looks like they don't want to take the time to create a good looking graphics engine that isn't cel shaded.
Am I the only one who is really, really hoping that this game isn't cel shaded/cartoony like TellTale's Walking Dead games? I think it wouldn't feel authentic or be faithful to the style series/source material. I personally think that the tone would be ruined and it would be impossible to truly take the story seriously.
The Resident Evil remake was one of the best in the series and worth owning a Gamecube for. Great graphics, great gameplay, solid control updates and new features like the Crimson Heads and defensive moves were all excellent. This is one of the best remakes/remasters ever. Can't wait to play this again.
I always wished they would've given Resident Evil 2 the same treatment, imagine how amazing that would look. Even RE 3.

To all the people here that slam Battlefield 4 to try and downplay that the Wii U really is underpowered, selling poorly and extremely limited with its game selection: How can you compare ONE game having internet problems with a console and its ENTIRE library being underpowered and decidedly last gen? Pointless argument. Battlefield 4 online was trash but there's a world of difference between failing at making one game's multiplayer stable and failing at making a console.

This is such a joke, I guess everyone forgets how many PS3 games were maxed out at 720p. No one seemed to complain about it back then and now 900p is somehow a huge problem. Its one thing when a multiplatform game is 1080 on PS4 and 900 on the Xbox One, but with an exclusive that still looks sharp whats the big deal? Honestly.

Where does the wii u fit in? It doesn't. Mediocre, last gen graphics, gimmicky touch pad, rehashed Mario and Zelda titles, zero third party support and almost no Mature titles make the console a huge failure in just about every way. Just look at the sales. Nintendo should've worked harder on their "next-gen" console instead of releasing the Wii 1.5 with a touch screen controller.
Platinum Games made a huge mistake. All the Nintendo fan boys on here who say "buy a wii u or get over it" how about this: the wii u is a complete failure with zero third party support and sub-par last gen graphics. Its only major games are rehashed sequels of tired franchises. "Get over it".

I hate how "Cliffy" completely disregarded and trashed the PC community (which is the reason for his success in the first place) after Gears of War 1 and said that it wasn't worth the time and resources to port any of the Gears sequels to PC but now hes making a PC exclusive. What a hypocrite, the last few years he was all about 360 and console gaming over PC but now that he left Epic he's done a complete 180.

Regardless of graphics the gameplay looks like simplistic garbage. Great graphics can never make up for antiquated gameplay like that, a terribly average looking animation of the player character thrusting a spear with hit points being taken away from the enemy just seems extremely dated and its definitely nothing new. Considering that this is next gen that's really disappointing. And the fact that its free to play also makes it questionable.
I'm getting a PS4 at launch but they really don't have anything good besides Killzone. Knack looks like a joke and I have zero interest in generic downloadable indie games. After that Second Son seems like it has good gameplay but the new main character and story look terrible, they should've stuck with Cole. god of war has become stale so I dont care about that, deep downs gameplay looks like simplistic trash so other than what naughty dog and David cage offer there's nothing...
There was this exact same reaction when they announced that Fallout 3 would be an FPS and look how that turned out, nobody considers that change a mistake. I think this'll end up being similar: fans of the original will be upset at first but then the game will end up being excellent and it won't matter.
XCom has a lot of potential and I think first person will suit it well. The graphics look good, the story, weapons and enemies look unique and if the combat is done...
People need to stop making such a big deal out of this, Postal had the same premise and that came out YEARS ago. Even the camera angle/perspective in that game was similar. That's how you know the majority of people complaining about this game are too young to remember Postal in the first place. Grow up its just entertainment. This game looks like a fun, arcade style shooter like Expendable. I'm hoping it has co op.
