I think it looks good and I do believe they have learned some very valuable lessons since BF3/4 screw ups.
In my eyes BF3 today plays like an almost complete game, it can be superb but sometimes still has bugs.
My perception of BF4 today is that its like a really good Beta, can be great but still feels quite rough around the edges. Truthfully I un-installed it. Once I got over the graphics I just felt kind of meh about it, it felt lacklustre.
I knew there was a steam game that I really meant to buy-but somehow forgot! This game looks decent, I've not played a truly fun game for ages now.
I swear the PS1-PS2 era was the best for raw entertainment, the games were so creative back then. I love the meticulous methods they found to overcome hardware limitations.

Right now I'm in the position where I can't afford any gen. One of my older brothers has gone out his way working over time to buy me an XB1 for Christmas which is very considerate of him. I am very grateful for that and will enjoy it thoroughly.

Nintendo is a strange one, I feel their presence is an absolute requirement in the gaming industry and am still saddened to see how Sega bungled the Mega CD, 32X, Gamegear and Saturn 4 way shenanigans that ultimately destroyed their credibility and hardware market share.
I can't help but feel that if only the Gamecube used regular DVD's Nintendo could have come back strong against Sony and Microsoft back then. Legally after the Sony/Nintendo venture frak up of the PS1...

Surely the perception of "surpass" will always be unique, as people have their own individual preference-not to mention each systems games and capabilities improving over time.
Obviously if one system sold so bad ala Dreamcast and lost support then that would be an issue, but that probably isn't likely. Plus Sega was running on borrowed time back then anyways, the Saturn, Mega CD and 32x lost them a fortune

As somebody who has seen members of his family having to fight real cases of gender discrimination at work and fraudulent behaviour of mortgage lenders this sickens and angers me in equal measure.

I wonder why in the world anyone cares, the standard of graphics is so high now that almost every modern game to my eyes looks good technically, artistically or both. Go back and play Master System/Genesis SNES, PS1-the machines I grew up playing and tell me now that the graphics are not good enough.

The Halo MCC collection spanned games from 2 generations of prior hardware developed by several studios in collaboration. It was and still is the most ambitious realisation of a HD collection. Drive club is one game on one platform developed by one studio, I do not personally see its technical shortcomings as comparable.

These guys are a frickin joke, what ever service they target: The issue is that they are pathetic jack asses. The bottom line is that people work hard to earn money and fuel their hobbies. With what little free time they have, they should be able to enjoy their leisure time uninterrupted.

This (to me) is incomparable to Battlefield 4, that game shipped on next gen, last gen and PC and is far more complex then Driveclub. Battlefield 4 is almost an open world shooter, I am staggered by how much you can do in it. With that in mind though, these days any large online game is likely to have problems. To my eyes that looks terrible on 360, it is vastly superior (unsurprisingly) on Xbox One in every conceivable way. I might buy an XB1 around Xmas/New years time. One of my older Bro's has one and the graphics are great, even on a 40+ inch screen. The 360 was a fine machine and sometimes I miss it but really it has had its day. Good that they are supporting it and all but I think it is finished now, the capabilities were maxed years ago.
The world's most expensive game? Half-life 2 it was not. I love Destiny's graphics, the art, the audio and the atmosphere. As a complete game though it was a nightmare to play, how could Bungie and Activision do this? They almost made cod seem intelligently designed and we know that's rarely happened since 2008.
