I've read a few reviews now for the console version and although it sounds good it doesn't sound like it was given the same love as Devil May Cry, Metro, Diablo, Tomb Raider or GTAV.
Borderlands really disappoints me, its such a poor conversion to "next generation" I wish there was more parity between developers aspirations as the gulfs between games quality can be huge. The whole redux bit is starting to bug me a little now as some just feel like cash grabs...

Playing Resi 4 with the wiimote is golden, I'm interested in the whole experience as opposed to just the coat of paint. I'm sure the witcher will be more than adequate on Xbox.

Hell I booted up the original Vegas via steam and it's still a riot to play. I love the tension, the weight of the weapons and the fact that a single bullet from any and every encounter can be deadly.
In terrorist hunt it gave me a respect for my adversaries that few games can muster. Fingers crossed for Siege.
The graphics hounds never rest. I just bought a wii on ebay, mint with loads of accessories and three games for 60 bucks. I look at metroid prime, corruption, wave race, no more heroes 2, Mario Galaxy etc and think, damn they look great and know that I can't play them elsewhere.
Graphics to me have been good now, really good since Dreamcast.
Advanced Warfare all day long, Hardline is sub par. I'm a big fan of both series, hope that helps.

I think the longer generation last time forced developers arguably to produce some of their best work. I loved The last of us, Gran Turismo 6, Hitman Absolution and many others, I was stunned by what was achieved.
I didn't know it was free, Horizon 2 is getting cheaper used-time to obtain me thinks.
I really enjoy it and am personally hooked on Raid Mode, I've downloaded all the main missions but only done about 25% if that, still I'm happy haha. I'll get back to the missions later.
It looks good but 15 pounds, 22 odd bucks Isn't that cheap. For me so far Metro Redux and the Devil May Cry re-release have provided the best value and at least Metro allows you to buy each game separately. (at least it appeared that way online?)
The digital prices are disturbing, 100+ for the "complete" versions what the frack, basic games features it seems are now behind pay walls.

How many balanced and intelligent posters above have only one or two bubbles, the topic as per usual is one dimensional. Little point in having a forum at all when only one rhetoric is allowed to exist.
So Sony is amaze-balls and that's it, period, nothing to add then until PS5. Maybe the site should close down until then.
Surely just port the pc builds over with an extra coat of paint. I still miss Black Ops 2 sometimes, loved the weapons and map selection. World at War was deliriously fun until they discovered the underground hack hahaha.
In my experience Watchdogs took about a century to install (to the point I was worried my machine was broken, one hour to do 20% wth) I unplugged the Ethernet cable and then it was about 12x faster and actually installed. Strange but a life saver none the less.
How is this even a story? Is it not a large and complex game?
The consoles are cheap for what they do, there will be little compromises here and there, such is life.
The fact that in real terms it was seemingly harder to develop for then Xbox 360 and not really any more powerful, an amped up Wii by design (which was itself an amped up Gamecube). Hardware "revisions" like that cost Sega their business, lest we forget. Over priced and under powered, certainly at launch.
I think a two year period of grace would strike the balance between humility and practicality, hell 18 months bare minimum.
I lost most of my paid DLC content with the Gran Turismo 5 Academy Edition after the online scrappage of the game. I'll always remember that for being managed poorly and so soon after the complete edition was released.
Titanfalls bots help to populate matches and not all them are useless, in the context of the game they perform their role. I'm not here to defend the cloud, I am going to say though that in ten years of gaming online Titanfall has given me the least problems with lag and disconnection, virtually none of either. Maybe it's a coincidence, hard to say for certain I guess but I only wish other games were as robust online.
