Alot of people have speculated (myself included) that the dropping value of 1080p driven panels is causing the manufacturers to seek the next big thing. I am very much of the opinion though that 1080p is still new in the broadest sense, yes maybe a PC CRT monitor could do 2000 x whatever way back when, but that was never mainstream. It is only now that 720p+ is the defacto, last gen consoles saw lots of sub HD content.
I like it alot, I guess I was sceptical at first because it doesn't "handle" quite the same as BF4 and I have too many hours on that game haha. I really like the styling: the environments and choices of weapons, characters and vehicles really give it a fresher feeling, thumbs up from me. Really pleased they delayed it to tune it up some more, love the graphics and effects too. Good times.
The Minecraft games were released on Sony's platform prior to the Microsoft acquisition-unless I am mistaken. (someone posted about this earlier in the thread) So I doubt any future titles would be released for Sony's systems.
Buy Capcom? ha,ha,ha-wasn't the Resident Evil refit just listed as one of the highest grossing games of the year so far? Not to mention all of their legendary IP's, the pride and history of the developer. I do not see them being for sale...
It works more often than not and is still killer value, I missed Halo 4 last time so being able to play it amongst the old favourites is excellent. Donkeys since I played Halo 2-3 also so they're fresh again
The biggest issue I had with Twin Snakes was the poor optimisation. It dropped frames like lead bricks and was not really an adequate use of the Gamecube hardware, Metroid Prime, Resident Evil 0, F-Zero and others proved the machine was highly competent. Twin snakes looked and ran so much worse then MGS2 on the weaker PS2. Perfect candidate though for a reduxing.
I was into Black Ops 2 for a while, Ghosts really didn't do anything for me though, I may have missed the boat with advanced warfare and am more excited for BF Hardline.
I'm pleased that Gears of War has had a break. I loved the original trilogy but despised judgement, really felt like a rushed cash in to me.
Haha the irony, we're now into remastering er... remasters. Although how else would only one platform holder play them?

Metro Redux is stellar, the original game was kinda broken and hard for the wrong reasons. Now I've finally been able to play it through and enjoy it fully for the masterpiece it always aspired to be.
More often then not the games are rebalanced with additional features EG difficulties, items and DLC including the graphical overhaul.

I don't know, in the days of 360 and PS3 Eg pre next generation release it seemed clearer. I had a firm sense of getting relevant services on both of those platforms based on what I did or did not pay.

Three days after I buy it haha, damn. Good for other people though trust me its great, the reduxed maps are superb. Added areas and routes for access makes the balance much better, plus the sand storms are bad ass. The 64 player cap is so much better then 24 last gen, good times all round.
